Kindle and Formatting

I am so sorry that I have not blogged. Time is my enemy. I have been learning to format my file to upload to Kindle.

Now I do not have to pay someone to format my file.

Now I don't have to rely on someone's schedule to decide when I publish another story. It took some time but it is easier than you think.

If you go to www.kdp.amazon.com they have an e-book that you can download. It is easier than you think.

I thought I wouldn't be able to do the Table of Contents (TOC) That was so easy.

So before you pay someone or doubt yourself....give it a try. Don't get upset if you need to go back and redo it. Take your time. You can do this.

I went to my dash board and did a trial run to see if Kindle would accept it. I didn't do anything but load of up the book. Play with it. It is well worth it.

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days. I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing. I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write. Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer. I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. So that I it. I am going to start writing and get this done. What are you working on??? WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

Don't Be Scammed

This is my number one pet peeve on being self published. There are people, website, and courses out there, that want your money. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEND! There are websites out there that will charge you for services that you can learn to do yourself. If you don't want to learn these things that is fine, pay for it. But if the reason that you are paying for services is because you don't t think you can, you are totally wrong. I have said this before and I am saying it again. I knew nothing when I started in 2011, I had a computer. I had no idea how to send a file via e-mail. I had no idea what to do one I got the file back from the formatter. How do I get it uploaded on Amazon. I had no idea that I had more than one drive on the computer. I downloaded a file and had no idea where it went. If you are thinking that you can not learn this.
