Hope you all had a great weekend.   Now it is back to work.  Summer is finally here.  That is no excuse not to write.  I write both on the computer and in longhand.  I carry a notebook with me everywhere I go.  People make fun of me at work, for carrying a notebook, but I don't care.  I want finish the story no matter what. The next episode of Zombie Zoo will be out this week.  Very excited about that.  I am writing everyday and though I am not writing as some people are, I am doing what I can and that is all I can do. Work gets in my way. I work to pay the bills, but it is only a matter of time till I can write full time. Even though it is a holiday weekend, I still have to work this weekend.  Becareful out there no matter what you do.  That doesn't mean that you can not fit writing into your weekend.  Take along a notebook and jot down notes while enjoying the cookout.  for myself, I will be working and watching a couple movies. Take care of your pets.  it is getting hot out and your pets need extra water and don't leave animals in the car alone, ever! Have a great weekend!!!!

I had the last two days off.  I cleaned my place.  Threw things away, organized my writing supplies.  I stock up on writing supplies when they are on sale, for back to school.  Needless to say that I have enough supplies for the next few years.  I now know where things are and am ready to write.  I have started to write yesterday, even though I was tired.  I feel better and now know that I can move forward.  I got rid of the clutter and it cleared my mind.  No more stepping r tripping over things.   I am good to go and am writing more, since I am not staring at my clutter. I never know what to do once my computer acts up.  I renewed my anti virus program and then I needed to update it, but my computer didn't have something.  So I didn't want to go on line without an anti virus protection.  I took it in and they fixed it. So now I am back on line.  I am waiting for my file to be formatted so my next episode of Zombie Zoo can go up.  This will be episode 5.  and I am excited.  I am going to put all 5 episodes into a print book and am going to put a bonus story in there also.  I am very excited about that. Time is valuable and it doesn't seem that there is enough time in the day.  I write when I get up, I write during the day and I write before I go to bed, and I still don't have enough time in the day.  Not sure how others do it.  I  know I am not alone in this struggle with finding time to write. I was on facebook and thought, I need to blog, and get busy writing.  So I logged off and went back to writing.  How do you find time to write??? I have been reading The Art of Non-Conformity  BY Chris Guillebeau  He says that you should set goals.  He sets his goal at 1,000 words a day.  He would then be able to write 300,000 words a year.  That is something to think about.  I reccommend his book.  visit his website at http://www.chrisguillebeau.com/   There are people out there writing thousands of words a day.  How many words are you writing a day???  What is your goal?? MY goal is to write everyday, no matter what.  I am not sure I have a word count, I just write when I can.  A thousand word goal is a good goal.  That is not hard to do.  I do think I write more than that.  I write at the computer and in longhand and those words add up when I write longhand. I have been sitting here for the past two hours going through my e-mail.  I have more than 500 e-mails over the week.  I didn't go through them,since I was concentrating on my writing. I print some things out and I read them and see if I can learn anything.  I think I have about another hour and then I will be done.  Is 500 e-mails a lot?  not sure but I made a plan to go through the e-mails this morning.  I got up early and have already re-read my story and worked on editting it.  Cross that off my list and then go through my e-mail, cross that off my list.  On my days off I have a list of what I want to do, so I know what direction I am going in.  So I am on course. I work a regular job to pay the bills.  On my days off I am totally writing.  Of course I write the days I have to work, but I will be very busy on my two days off. Before I have the days off, I start making a list of what I need to do, So when I clock out for work, I know what I need to do.  I will be very busy on my days off.  So in reality I have no days off and that is okay with me. I have a doctor appointment, on one of my days off, but I will take my notebook with me and write while I am waiting.  I am reading Chris Guillebeau  http://www.chrisguillebeau.com/    I reccomend his book. I am just one of those writers that decided to self publish.  I am living my dream.  I have finally seen my dream become a reality.  i don't listen to the naysayers.  If you are not supporting me, then I am not listening to you. I only discuss my writing with people who support me.  I block out all the negative comments about my writing.  Most people have no dream and want to kill your dream. I checked my amazon ranking and it is very depressing.  I will totally be honest here on my blog.  I am selling books, just not as many as I would like.  I checked my amazon ranking and now know why I am not selling more books.   I am not sure how to improve my ranking.  I am blogging.  I am on facebook and on other blogs.  I am just plugging away and will not give up Do you have any suggestions on how to improve my ranking????? I am blogging, I am posting on facebook. wherever I can find a place to plug my book. I have another episode of Zombie Zoo coming out as soon as I get my book cover and I started another story and will have a print book out within two months. I will never give up.  I am a writer, and I do not care what others say. I am going forward with my writing career and could not be happier.  Have you ever thought of given up???   Take that thought out of yoiur head. Quitting is not an option.  If you need to take a couple days off, that is okay, but don't give up. Continue and see your dream come a reality. While I am editing my next episode of Zombie Zoo, I have started on my next story.  I am including another short story in Zombie Zoo, when I make it into a print book.  So I am busy editing and writing which I love to start a new story.  Everything is fresh and new and I can write without thinking. I am waiting for my book cover, I am excited to see it.  So I am moving along with my writing and writing the next story.  I wrote three pages in my car, before I went to work.  I don't mind writing in my car.  I am alone with my thoughts and I seem to think better. I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction.
