It is only June 5th, but I have written around 10,000 words so far.  The words are flowing this month.  I am using Save The Cat Book and using the 15 beats.  I know how the story starts and how the story ends and what happens at midpoint. If you do not have Save the Cat series. I suggest you grab a copy.   Save The Cat Yes it is for screenwriting, Jessica Brody also wrote a book on how to use Save the Cat book to write a novel.  I am not getting any money for talking about these books.  It is just what I am using. I am writing the rough draft of my novel and I am surprised how well it is going.  I have been blogging every morning on this blog and  My Other Blog   Then I go and feed the chickens, and surf the net a bit and in the afternoon, I work on my books. I am writing throughout the day, though not in all one sitting.  I blog in bed and in the afternoon, I move into the livingroom and write in front of the television in my recliner until around five pm. Word Count For May/ Writing Goal For June

Today is June 1st 2020 Last month I made a challenge to myself and asked for you all to join me. The Writing Challenge was to write everyday, didn't matter how much I wrote, I was going to write everyday. Whether it was 5 words or 5,000 words. My total words for the month of May are: 44,883 WORDS For me that is good.  I only missed 2 days of writing. These words does not include the words I write every day, when I blog.  If I added those words, that would be adding 500-1,000 words, everyday I blog. I am just concentrating my word count on my book writing words. I did this without much effort.  I didn't push myself.  On the days I didn't want to write, I just wrote 500 words. But if this was the month of NaNo then I could of easily reached my word count goal. The main thing is to write everyday.  That is easier said than done. So it is now June 1st, 2020. In May, I didn't have a goal, except to write everyday.  To get me in the habit of writing
