Happy New Year!!!

I realize that it is morning where I live, In the United States of America, I realize that in other parts of the world, you will be celebrating before I do, So I just want to give everyone a big shout out HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! I am writing today, to kick off the new year.  My Goals for 2020 1.  To Blog more regularly 2.  To Publish my Way Series These are my to things I will be focusing on throughout the year.  I will be posting daily, weekly, monthly updates and talk about my success, failures and self doubt.  In 2011 I started Self-Publishing... I then made a goal to publish 50 E-Books,  I reached that goal. Write 12 E-Books In One Year UK Canada Australia India/Asia/Pacific Self_Publishing is always changing.  It is more competitive now more than ever, but that is no reason to give up.   2020 is a New Decade 2020 is a New Decade This is Your Year Follow me as I Write/Edit/Publish a 4-5 Book Series this year. If I can do this so

Writing Is A Gift From God

I have been sitting at the computer since 7:00 AM this morning. I wrote 4,000 words. This morning, the words just flowed from my brain to my fingers and onto the computer.  that does not happen that often and I am so excited and don't want to stop.  I stopped, because I always wanted to blog before I quit writing at my desk. I have a small notebook next to the computer.  I am writing down, my word count everyday.  I am being honest.  I am surprised how many words I have written this month. It is around 48,000 words. The one thing I am learning is that, as I sit down and write, I am amazed at the ideas that my fingers are typing. I am almost done with The Cross.  I have been rewriting it this week, and the ideas that I came up with were amazing.  Where did those ideas come from???  It wasn't me. This morning I kept writing because I knew that God was guiding my fingers, because it was not me writing, it was God. I know that a lot of you may not believe in God, bu

Word Count For December

So far to date, 12-27-19, I have written 44,000 words this month. How did that happen.  I didn't write 10 days this month. The days I did write, I wrote -2,000-3,000 words a day. So you would think that I would have a story, almost finished, not so. I wrote, but I was all over the place.  I worked on one book, and the next day I worked on another. I was not focused at all, but... Yesterday, I wrote 3,000 words, and am rewriting and editing, The Cross.  It just needs to be edited and some scenes rewritten, but it is close to being ready to publish,,,,,, So, that is what I am doing today.  I wrote about 1,000 words today, but more, just looking over the book and seeing what I need to rewrite.  Goal is: To publish The Cross in January.    Will be around 40,000 words.  So if I write 2,000 words a day, that would be 60,000 words a month.  I could have the 2nd book in the series written.  I know that I can write 2,000 words a day.  If I sit down and do it. Fun F

Self Doubt

Another year is coming to a close.  As you look back at this year, do you wish you wrote more, publish more and then do you feel terrible and hate yourself because you are a lousy writer? Welcome to my world. I have self doubt every day.  I can write as least 3,000 words a day.  That is the easy part.  The hard part is to take those words and rewrite them so they are publishable.  I can write rough drafts of stories day in and day out, but what does that mean, if I can not rewrite and make those words publishable. This here lies my problem. I can write anywhere.  In bed, on the bathroom floor, at my desk and even in front of the TV, but then when it comes to re-writing and editting, my Self-Doubt rises up and takes over.  Then it is game over. I know that we all have Self-Doubt.  There is no getting around it.  So how does one deal with Delf-Doubt? Keep Writing. When I am on Facebook in the writing Facebook groups, people post how many words they wrote in a day, week or

Writing Is A Business

Are you claiming your writing expense when you file your taxes? Are you saving every receipt you spend on writing, to deduct in you when you file? If you have published a book on Amazon, you are a business owner. Your book is the product you are selling. You are not just a writer.  You are a business owner. Find a good lawyer, and claim yourself as a writer. So before April 15,2020 shows up, gather all your receipts and claim your writing.  Find a good lawyer. Amazon will send you a record of your royalties.  Begin this year, knowing you are a writer and a business owner. Writing is a business.  It is not a hobby.

When Writing, Think Global

Are you taking full advantage to the fact that you book is listed in other countries?? Think about that.  Have you checked on your sales dashboard that you have sold a book in Canada or even Japan.  How cool would that be? I am always excited when I sell a book.  I am really excited when I sell a book in another country.  If you are a Blogger, you realize that you will have views from other countries?  If you are a Blogger or thinking of blogging on whatever topic it might be, don't just think about your country, think about going Global with your writing. I have a  Christian blog   I get views from countries that I never heard of.  I had to get a map out to find the country.  I make it a point to blog, so I can reach other countries that won't allow God in the country or are limited to the Word of God.  So my goal with that blog is to reach people in other countries. This blog, my main focus is to let other people who have a story to tell, to know that they can wri

How Do You Edit? Hard Copy?

99 Cents Find The Episodes of Me VS Zombies I was working on the first book in my series. The rough draft is finished.  As I was on the computer, I couldn't remember what happened in chapter 4.  So I would scroll up and then I would scroll down and just had no idea if the scenes where in order or where I needed to rewrite what. I printed out a Hard Copy.  I don't know how many people edit and rewrite on the computer or on a Hard Copy.   I need a hard copy.  So yesterday, I printed out a Hard Copy and with a red pen, I read the rough draft and made notes.  So now when I go back to the computer I have a the Hard Copy to tell me when and what I need to rewrite and fix. Yesterday, was Sunday and I did not write.  I worked on editing on the Hard Copy so I am now ready to go back to the computer and add and fix what I did to. Let me know how you edit.  Hard Copy or just on the computer??? Total Word Count for December so far, 10,800 Words Wri

Just Write The Book

Buy Now I have been on Facebook this past week, wasting my time mostly.  I am on several writing groups.  The two I like the most are 20Books50K and WMWC  Writing a Million Words.  In these two groups, everyone is trying to write and get published.  Very informative in seeing what other writers are doing,   Then I scroll on the other other writing groups, they are good if you need support in your writing, but as I was scrolling on Facebook, when I should have been Blogging or Writing, I thought. JUST WRITE THE BOOK I admit that I have 5 rough drafts written.  One almost complete and could be published within a month.  Anyone can write.  In the Facebook Group to write a million words in a year, is great.  I am excited about that.  Just because I might write a million word in 2020, does not mean that I will have a book published. Once the rough draft is finished, you still have to go and rewrite it, edit it and then publish.   So I just want to say to all the w

2020 Writing Goals

It is the last month of the year, and as usual everyone is obsessed with making Christmas perfect.  I am not one of those people.  I do my shopping in July.  I buy gifts only on sale.  They are wrapped and now it is December and I am done shopping.  Gift giving is over rated and I refuse to go into debt, when the next day, people will not remember what you got them.  Don't believe me?  Ask them. So I am focusing on my writing.  Presents are wrapped and Christmas dinner is already bought and in the freezer. My Goals for 2020 1.  Create a Writing Schedule. 2.  Set Word Count. 3.  Write Everyday. 4.  Publish 4 Books in 2020 5.  Blog more regularly. Here is something that might help you increase your word count and get published. Join These 2 Facebook Groups WCM2  Word Count Millionaires    Their goal is to write a million words in 2020.  They are using the month of December to get you ready to start in January. 20Books to 50K  Their goal is to write and publish a

Choosing A Genre

How does one know what genre to write? This was the first  Book   It is my testimony of how God changed my life. Then I wrote  Always & Forever This is a romance novel, with paranormal elements.  I had an entire series plotted out. I was on my way to being a Christian Writer.  Then someone wrote a review and called me a Paranormal Writer. I like the sound of that. Then: Zombies  entered my life.  I wrote  Zombie Zoo I wrote 5 stores of Zombie Zoo and then wrote the series Me VS Zombies I was on my way.  I was selling E-Books, getting royalty checks and was on my way.  Then I sort of got burned out on the series.  I have 10 premade covers for a new Zombie Series, but just didn't know how to make it stand out from Me VS Zombies . So I went back writing Christian Non fiction books, for a year or so. I started blogging and just wanted to stay home and write. So here I am, sitting in my room, blogging and writing for the past 9 months. I have a rough dr

What I Have Learned from NANO

I am not going to make 50,000 words by the end of the month, I am writing everyday, and I have learned a few things. 1.  I feel to much pressure to write a lot everyday. 2.  After 2,000 words, I need a break. 3.  Usually after I right 2,000 words, my mind is drained. 4.  After my break from writing 2,000 words, I usually do the rest of my writing in long hand or blog or just think. 5.  I work on more than one book at a time, so I am constantly working on one book, one day and the next day might work on another book. 6.  I need to be more organized. 7.  I am a writer no matter how I write each day. 8.  I continue to write everyday. 9.  Everyday my word count is different. 10.  If I don't write one day, life will go on. Good luck to everyone who is plugging away.    You are almost to the finish line. What are you learning from doing NANO? I did stop counting my word count.  I do hope you all will do better than me. Don't give up.  You can do it. Wr

How Is NANO Going For You?

I am not a fan.  This is the first year I am doing NANO.  I feel like this voice yelling in my head, "WRITE!  WHY ARE YOU NOT WRITING?" I wrote 500 words yesterday.  I didn't even work on my story, I just wrote down an idea for a story that I had screaming in my head. It is now deer season, and I had to help with the deer that was my boyfriend killed.  Plus I had to do the chickens and their water was frozen.  I couldn't eat anything after doing the deer.  My kitchen looked like a murder scene.  For those of you who have been reading my blog.  Yes I am still a vegetarian. but we moved to live off grid so that is what we are doing.  More on living off grid later. I am still writing everyday.  Blogging today. I think my word count is up to 18,000 I think. Now I have to go to town. So hang in there if you are not making your word count.  As long as you are writing that is all that matter.  One Word At A Time Let me know your word count and what you thi

Word Count Update NANO

November 8th & 9th I didn't write anything.  Blame it on the weather and I just didn't feel that great, though it is not an excuse. Nov 11th I wrote 2,500 words.  Today, Nov 12 I have written 2,000 words so far.  Total as of today I have written:  16,000 words.  (If I counted right) I have a piece of paper that I am keeping track of my word count, and I am not counting every single word.  The day I wrote 2,500 words, I went over that but I just rounded the number off. So that is where I am at so far.  The month is almost half over; I need to step up my word count if I am going to make it to 50,000 words. How are you doing? What is your word count? Write On!

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a writer and miss a day here and there, it is not the

NANO Update

Day 1:  2,000 Words Day 2.  1,000 Words Day 3.  1,000 Words. I need to step up today.  I don't really have an excuse on why I am not writing more.  I have sinus issues.  I am sure everyone is dealing with something. So if you are doing NANO, hang in there.  You are not alone Going to go and write.

Day 1 of NANO

I have sinus issues when I woke up this morning.  I I was not going to write or do anything else today.  Then I remembered that it was November 1st. I had to talk myself into writing. I sat in my chair with the tv on and wrote 2,000 words. I have to confess that the last 800 words were a bit hard, but I did not get up until I made my word count. How did you do on the 1st day of November. Leave a comment and let me know.

Are You Ready For NANO?

Official Website People around the world are going to attempt to write 50,000 words in the month of November. I have my book plotted and know how the book will end and will start and I know where the midpoint is. I have all the characters in my head.  Yesterday I wrote 3,000 words. I can write 2,000 words a day withing 1 1/2 hours.  So that is going to be my goal Don't beat yourself up if you do not reach 50,000 words.  It is just to get you writing everyday.  If you can write everyday for the next 30 days, then you will know that you are able to write everyday. If you don't write, you will never get your book finished. This is the first year I am going to attempt to write 50,000 words. I would like to write more, so I am going to try and push myself to write more, not sure if that is possible.  When I write, My back and shoulders start aching.  I am sure it is the way I am sitting. So if you want to join me in the month of November, leave a comment. I w

Are You An Organized Writer?

Are you an organized writer?  Is your desk neat with no clutter? A friend of mine, just redid her office.  I went over there to check it out.  I was shocked to see how organized the office was. 1.. The desktop was marble and built into the wall.  Up against the wall at the end of her desk was a large box with shelves in it, made into small boxes.  Each box had a purpose.  The other end of the marble desk was another wooden box with shelves. 2.  I could see the floor. 3..  I could walk in and not step over anything. 4.  It was a writer's dream office. 5.  She offered to help me redo mine. I should of been grateful for the offer.  I should of taken the offer.  I didn't I can not write being that organized.  Why?  You might ask.  I have a hard time writing in my office.  When I am in my office and I sit down at the computer, I feel and think that I need to be productive.  I have to do something.  I like taking my laptop and write in the living room while the t

Instead, I write.  I might not write 2,000 words everyday.  What I do everyday is, I write.  I write and it might only be 100 words, but I wrote something. I blog and I consider that writing.  I have people come to my blog everyday.  People are reading what I write, like you are reading what I have written, therefore I am a writer.   I know that it is lonely sometimes and you wonder why bother.  I write to live.  I can not write. You can be a self-published writer in less than a month, if you want to be. 1.  Write a short story.  Say, 5,000 words lo

Writing Time

Writing can be exhausting.  I was sitting at the computer for about 5 hours yesterday.  That might not seem long to some, but my back hurt, shoulders ached.  I blogged twice I wrote 2,000 words Today I wrote 2,000 words first thing Then I blogged. I timed myself as I wrote the 2,000 words.  It took me 1 1/2 hours to write 2,000 words.  I have to admit that I was not as fast as I was yesterday.  I had to force myself to sit at the desk and make my goal. I find it weird that some days I can write, write and write and others it is  a chore to even write a word. I do have the rough draft of the series that I am writing done.  It is a very rough draft but the scenes are there and and I have a beginning, a middle and an end.  So I have book 1 rough draft done. I have book 2 rough draft done. In November I will start the NANO and attempt to have Book 3 rough draft done. Book 4 in the series, I have sort of started outlining that book.  I have the first scene and that i

Does Your Story Have A Timeline?

When you write a scene, do you know what time of day it is?  The time of year?  What month it is? I never really thought about this while I was writing my  Me Vs Zombies Series   USA UK Denmark FREE On Kindle Unlimited When I was writing short stories, I didn't need a time line, because everything happened at that moment. When writing a longer book, you need to be aware of which day it is, the time of year, time of day and the how many days, months or weeks your story spands. Timeline.  One day, two weeks, a month or over a period of years. This is the perfect time to get a calendar.  Banks give them away free this time of year and stores are selling calendars for 2020, buy one you like.  Then you can place your scenes in which day they will happen. When I am writing my rough draft, at the beginning of each scene, I write what day it is, the time, morning, afternoon and the weather. The next scene could be later that day so I need to keep tr

Getting Ready For NANO

National Writers' Month Website This is where  across the country and maybe even the world, where writers, attempt to write 50.000 words in the month of November. I have never done this before.  I am going to attempt it this year. 50,000 words break down to 1.675 words a day. I think that is doable for anyone.  If nothing else, just write until you reach the word goal. I am going to shoot for 2,000 words a day.  I am just rounding it up and be easier for me to keep track of my word count. I have done a few things to get ready. 1.  I know the story I want to write. 2.  I know the view point and the characters. (I already have character charts and settings and time line done.) 3.  I have a file created.  Looks like this: Chapter 1 Lizzy Travis Bobby Mandy Chapter 2 Lizzy Travis Bobby Mandy In this book I will have 4 different viewpoints so each chapter will have 4 viewpoints, which is not a typical romance novel format.  But I am going to do

Welcome Writers From Around The World

I want to say, Thank-You for everyone who visits my blog.  I check the what countries that visit my blog and I am amazed how many countries throughout the world visits my blog.  Russian was huge the last couple of days.  I say Welcome. We are all writers.  I write everyday.  I am not always productive everyday.  I suffer from sinus problems and some days my headaches are so bad, I am bedridden.  That does not mean that I am not a writer, because I didn't write one day. Amazon has made it so easy to be Self-Published.  So if you want to be Self-Published, there is no excuse.  I am not sure about publishing in other countries, but it is worth checking into.   Publish on Amazon   It is easy to understand and to set up an account.  My goal for this blog is to show, teach and learn how to be Self-Publish without going into debt.  There are courses out there, books, videos, and some are quite pricey.  It is your choice.  I am here to tell you, that I Self-Publish and have over

Multiple Blogs

How many blogs are too many? I like to blog.  I reach more people from around the world by blogging than I do on social media.  The United States of America are not the only people I want to reach.  I want readers from all over the world to read my work.  I get more excited when I sell a book in other countries.  I have sold books world wide without even trying, through blogging. As of this moment, I have 3 blogs My Walk With Jesus A Writers Life Me VS Zombies I created Me VS Zombies yesterday.  I have 33 Episodes of the series, the short stories I published once a month.  I decided to start blogging on the Series and reach more readers throughout the world. As you can see, these 3 blogs do not have anything in common except me. I am a Christian and Believe that we are living in the last days, the last hours and the last minutes before the Rapture, Jesus' Return. I write about my writing, because I want everyone to know that if you want to be a published author y

Having Doubts About NANO

Buy Now UK Do you have your Book idea? Is your Book Plotted out? Are you having doubts about finishing? We all have doubts.  Sometimes I think that I have a split personality.  One day I write 5,000 words and the next day I write nothing.  I am a writer and then I sit in front of the tv and watch American Pickers for 12 hours and eat a bag of chips/  What is wrong with me? I am sure that I am not alone here.   I am sure everyone has doubts.  Since writing is a profession that non-writers don't understand, we are basically on our own.   In my world, I have no one to talk to about my writing.  No one really cares.  Sure they will care when I sell millions of copies of books, have a book tour and sell the movie rights,  When the money starts flowing, people will care. For now, it is just me, my characters, and the vision I have.   I blog so others will know that they are not alone.  I write-edit-publish my own books.  I write because I have t

Finding The Perfect Time To Write

Morning, Afternoon or Evening: What is your perfect time to write? Everyone is different and there is no wrong answer.  I am a night person.  I worked nights for Twenty years and wrote when all was quiet, dark and nothing else to do.  I recently quit my job to write full time.  I could no longer work in the middle of the night, I could but it is better to be a day person with chickens, the garden and trying to reconnect with friends. I found that right when I get up, is the best time for me. I have been sitting at the computer since 7:30 am and it is now 11:30am   4 hours at the computer. My back is starting to ache. I have written 3,000 words today, blogged on my other  Blog  and now blogging on this. This afternoon, I will have my notebook and make notes on what I want to write tomorrow, so when I get up and go to the computer, I will know what I am going to work on and have an idea what to write.  I learned that if I do not go to the computer right when I get up, I

No Excuse To Write

Winter is here. I went and let the chickens out this morning.  42 degrees out this morning.  Sunday was a rainy day and I spent about six hours writing.  Winter is upon us and now that I will not be attending to the garden or going outside that much. I HAVE NO EXCUSE NOT TO WRITE Yes, I can come up with excuses not to write.  The question is:  Am I wannabe writer or am I a writer? I like to write.  I write everyday.  I am not saying that it is on the book I am writing or it is any good.  So am I wannabe writer or a writer. Some days I think I am a wannabe writer and other days I think I am a writer. I have over 50 E-Books on  Amazon   I have 2 blogs and working on a series. We all have doubts and think negative things about us. Something draws me to the computer to write.  I have tried not to write.  I have thrown everything away and then I find myself scribbling on paper towels and on back of receipts. So I am a writer.  I was at the computer at 6:00am this morning.

Blogging Around The World

The rain has past.  Yesterday was a very productive day.  I reread the draft of The Cross.  I reread the draft of The Way I like what I have written.  So now I just have to get my but in gear and edit like crazy.  For me that is easier than done.  I look at my desk which is piled up with legal pads, books and now I cannot find anything. I have blogged today.  Check out my other  Blog   I am blogging a scripture a day on the Devotional I am working on.  Jesus said, Go ye into the world, and preach the Gospel.  I feel that is what I am doing by blogging.  Believe it or not, I am getting other countries to my Christian Blog than I am from the USA, which is good.  So I am reaching people all over the world from blogging.  If you want to reach readers from around the world, might want to start blogging.   Blogger  is free and very easy to use.  I have been using Blogger since 2011.  I know a lot of writers have switched to  Word Press  It is a learning curve for me, and I am getti

Editting On A Rainy Day

It is Sunday and rainy out. I got up around 7:00am and in my office.  I blogged on my other  Blog .  Now I am blogging on this blog. I have nothing planned today except to hideout in my office with the cassette player on.  That is right.  I listen to cassette tapes.  That might tell you my age.  I have a lot of cassettes before CD's took over.  So I just never got rid of the cassettes.  So if you are wondering what I listen to, I listen to what they call the Oldies.  50's music.  If you are younger than me, you might want to check out the 50's music. I have multi books that I am working on. The Cross needs Editting The Way needs Editting A Non-Fiction Book which will be a devotional needs editing. As you can see I am editing mode. I hate to edit. I can write rough drafts every day of the week, but when it comes to editing, this is what slows me down. The Cross should already be published, but I have to edit it and change a few things before I send it off

NANo

November is the month where writers come together all around the world to write 50,000 Words in one month. I have attempted to do this in past years. NANO 50,000 Words break down to 1,667 words a day.  That is doable. The problem is that you need to write 1,667 words every day or more. Something to think about. I just received the latest issue of  Writer's Digest  November/December. I read the article on NANO. I am thinking about doing this.  If I do this, I will post my daily word count everyday.  We all can do this together. I have a personal story that I want to write as fiction.  I was thinking that if I write it fast without thinking about what I should leave out or put in, I would have the rough draft done within 30 Days and I would be able to edit it, but the story is written.  If I do the NANO that will be a fresh story that I haven't started and one that I want to write. What do think????  You willing to Join me to write 50,000 words with the rest o

Rapid Release Publishing

Rapid Release Publishing.......Ever heard of it? This is nothing new, but it is worth looking into.  Rapid Release Publishing  is when you write, edit and publish an E-Book once a month, twice a month....The key to keep readers coming back and buying your books.  If you write a book once a year, which is fine, and it takes you another year to publish a book, odds are you will have lost the readers, they moved on.  So to keep your readers coming back and never leaving, once they finish one of your books, they will be looking for your next book which would be within weeks. This works and is so true.  When I wrote my  Zombies Series   I decided to write a short story every month for a year.  The story would run around 5,000-10,000 words a story.  After all  Zombie Zoo  I wrote that story in one sitting.  So, that year, I wrote-edit -published a short story for a year and then wrote  Me VS Zombies   So it can be done.  That is basically all I did:  Work to pay the bill

Writing More Than One Book At A Time

Yesterday, I was trying to get organized. 1.  Cleaned up the pile of papers that just seem to pile up. 2.  Decided to put all of my books on a new flash drive.  All the books will be in one place. 3.  Made a a file for each book.  Then I can work on any one of the books with them all being on the same flash drive and a file already made for each book. 4.  I have book covers for each book.  I can start setting up each book at  KDP 5.  I have my CD's close by, the music that I listen to when I write. Four of the books are all connected so I have to make sure the time line is the same and then I can go to each file and make notes if I need to. Each book will be around 50,000 Words.  Longer if need be. Now I just need to decide where I am going to write them.  I have a cute little office that I really like, the problem is that I have been writing in my bedroom and on my bed for years and now that I have an office, well, I still write in bed.  I need to break that habit.

Still Rewriting

I know that it has been awhile since I blogged.  I have been rewriting.  I have the story in my head.  I see it as a movie.  I see it as a published book.  I see myself holding the print copy of the book. I have tightened the plot.  Now I am going through it, adding detail, description  It is a Series.  I have 4-5 Books in this Series.  I was just going to write one book, then the next.  Then I started thinking, I want all the books to connect.  Same characters, each has their own story, but all the characters will be in every book.  Same location. So this is what I have been doing, while I am rewriting, which is taking longer than I thought it would. 1.  Created Book Covers for each book.  I used the Kindle Book Converter for the book covers.  I feel better if I already have the book cover. 2.  Started plotting out each book, and whose story is for what book. 3. Posted the plots in my office. 4.  Making lists of how the town changes with each book. 5.  Time line.  Ho

Rewrite-Rewrite-Rewrite

How many times do I have to do I have to rewrite the novel I am writing.  I have rewritten the story The Cross, at least 10 times.  Each time I rewrite the story, it gets tighter and more focused.  I like the story where it is going now. I AM TIRED OF REWRITING Do you feel this way?  I want the story published now so I can go to the next book in the series, but I know that I have to get the first book right, so the others will follow in the right direction. I thought that I would of had this book finished and published.  I am plugging away.  I am writing- rewriting-writing-rewriting What about you? How many times do you rewrite a story??

Publishing Journals

Have you ever heard of publishing Low Content on Amazon? I was scrolling through Facebook when I should have been writing.  I came across Katharyne Shelton.  She is on Youtube and has created Tangent Templates.  (Might want to google that) It is when you create a journal.  Lined pages or blank pages.  Create a cover and load it up at KDP. She sells the templates so basically all you have to do is create a cover.  It costs you nothing. Canva  is a website where you can create your covers for Free.  I never heard of this. I am not endorsing this at all. I have always thought it would be cool to have a journal to go along with my non-fiction books.  It is something to look into.  She also has a facebook page, that you can join.  I must warn you that, like everything else, it works for some and not always for others.  There are people who create hundreds of journals, different sizes and upload them on amazon.  It is not a garentee that you will make money.  Not saying it
