When Writing, Think Global

Are you taking full advantage to the fact that you book is listed in other countries??

Think about that.  Have you checked on your sales dashboard that you have sold a book in Canada or even Japan.  How cool would that be?

I am always excited when I sell a book.  I am really excited when I sell a book in another country.

If you are a Blogger, you realize that you will have views from other countries?

If you are a Blogger or thinking of blogging on whatever topic it might be, don't just think about your country, think about going Global with your writing.

I have a Christian blog  I get views from countries that I never heard of.  I had to get a map out to find the country.  I make it a point to blog, so I can reach other countries that won't allow God in the country or are limited to the Word of God.  So my goal with that blog is to reach people in other countries.

This blog, my main focus is to let other people who have a story to tell, to know that they can write, edit and publish their story and not have to go into debt.  I am Self -Published and have over 50 E-Books on Amazon and can now publish for free.  It is easier than you think.

So don't limit yourself to just the country you are living in or the thought that you can not sell it Italy or Japan.  I sold a book in Italy and in Japan and I was thrilled. I even did a happy dance around the house.

Never doubt yourself.  If you quit, you will never know if you could.

A reader posted a review of one of my books:

"It is not only an excellent tool for new Believers, but also for any Christian looking for an excellent Bible verse where God speak to you directly."

I did a happy dance after I read this.
The book that was reviewed was 101 Daily Bible Confessions

Don't limit yourself.  2020 is just weeks away.  Start dreaming big/ and reach the world with your writing.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Work Ethic

What is your work ethic????  It might get that book written sooner. I admit that televison is my distraction from writing.  I can not write in the living room, where the telvision is staring at me.  I know it talks to me.  Maybe your distraction is something dirrerent.  The dishes calling you to wash them or those dust bunnies talkling to you.  Whatever it is we need to stop listening to them. I always plan on writing more than I do.  I came home from work yesterday, and had plans to write, then I ate and started flipping channels and then the time slipped by and I didn't write anything.  I think it all come down to one's work ethic.  Some have one and some don't. I think I am one of them that does not have a strong work ethic.  The fact that I want my book finished, is what motivates me.  I want to be a writer, so I write. http://iamwalkingwithgod.blogspot.com/

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. So that I it.  I am going to start writing and get this done. What are you working on??? This is a new year.....New Beginning.
