I have been on Facebook this past week, wasting my time mostly.  I am on several writing groups.  The two I like the most are 20Books50K and WMWC  Writing a Million Words.  In these two groups, everyone is trying to write and get published.  Very informative in seeing what other writers are doing,  

Then I scroll on the other other writing groups, they are good if you need support in your writing, but as I was scrolling on Facebook, when I should have been Blogging or Writing, I thought.

JUST WRITE THE BOOK

I admit that I have 5 rough drafts written.  One almost complete and could be published within a month.  Anyone can write.  In the Facebook Group to write a million words in a year, is great.  I am excited about that.  Just because I might write a million word in 2020, does not mean that I will have a book published.

Once the rough draft is finished, you still have to go and rewrite it, edit it and then publish.  

So I just want to say to all the would be writers out there.  If you want to write a book.  Write the Book, rewrite the book.  Edit the book .  Publish the book.  

It is not as hard as it sounds, if you put the time in.

So I need to stay off FaceBook and Just Write The Book.

I am going to try to increase my word count in 2020.  I started this month.

Dec 4th 2,700 Words

Dec. 5th 2,700 Words

Dec. 6th 2,700 Words

I did good on the 4th and 5th.  Yesterday, it took me longer to reach my word count.  I sat in front of the TV and wrote yesterday.

Today I will try to reach my word count.  

If you write 2,700 Words every day in 2020.  You will have written around 1 Million Words.

That is my goal.  I started this month so I will be writing and be in the mindset to write everyday.  Not going to be easy everyday, but I am going to give it a shot.

Yesterday I did not want to write at all, so of course I started another story.  Not sure where I am going with my writing, but I am writing everyday so far.  If you do not write, you will never get published.

The new thing is writing sprints.  Where you set a timer to see how many words you can write in a certain amount of time.  They do this on Facebook Writing Groups, so you can post how many words you wrote and see how many words other writers wrote.  

Whatever works for you to get you writing is always good.

So I am just saying:

Write Eveyyday

Just Write The Book

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. WRITING UPDATE: NEW MONTH

 LAST MONTH OF SUMMER....AUGUST....ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN....WINTER WILL BE HERE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT AUGUST 1ST....I WROTE 8 PAGES.....LAST MONTH....JULY.....I ENDED WITH .....241 PAGES I THINK THAT IS PRETTY GOOD....SO I AM MOVING ALONG....REWRITING MY 1,000 PAGE NOVEL LOTS OF WORLD BUILDING.....A LITTLE BIT OF RESEARCH.......SO IT IS GOING PRETTY WELL. I AM GOING TO TRY TO ENJOY THIS LAST MONTH OF SUMMER.... THE WORLD IS IN CHAOS.....AMERICANS ARE NOT EVEN SURE WHO IS RUNNING THE COUNTRY......JESUS IS COMING....ARE YOU READY????? WRITING UPDATE: LOOKING TOWARD 2025

 I AM ENJOYING THE LAST MONTH OF SUMMER HARD TO BELIEVE THAT SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER AND SOON WINTER WILL BE HERE...AND I WILL BE HUNKERED DOWN WRITING ALL WINTER....THAT IS MY PLAN. I WRNT TO THE DOLLAR TREE TO BUY MY 2025 CALENDARS A WALL CALENDAR AND A MONTHLY PLANNER CALENDAR I AM NOT HOPEFUL FOR 2025 I AM NOT HOPEFUL ABOUT THE ELECTION IN NOVEMBER MY HOPE IS IN JESUS JESUS IS COMING BACK I BELIVE IN JESUS CHRIST OF NAZERETH  I BELIEVE IN THE RAPTURE SO NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS PHYSICAL REALM I AM ALWAYS LOOKING UP TO JESUS MY EYES ARE ON JESUS I WILL WRITE EVERYDAY AS I WAIT FOR JESUS SO NO MATTER WHAT......I FEAR NOT......JESUS IS THE WAY....THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE THIS MONTH....AUGUST 7TH.....I HAVE WRITTEN 37 PAGES SO FAR WRITE ONE WORD AT A TIME .
