I Write To Escape The Real World

Buy Now  E-Book I just hit the Publish Button for the Paperback moments ago. This is just a fun Zombie Story about what could happen if your date turns into a Zombie.  Would you kill them or try to save them.  Also I included the first story of Zombies On Board, The First Story in the Series Me Vs Zombies. I haven't been On-line for about two weeks.  Why? You ask?  It wasn't planned, it just happened.  I worked on getting the paperback edition of My Date With  A Zombie and plotted out the Books I want to publish this year. My Date With A Zombie is the 1st of 3 Books. The next Book is Merry Zombie Christmas The 3rd Book is Zombie Love Just a fun series to write when the world goes crazy and I cannot take it anymore. It is kinda like reading.  People write to escape the real world. I was writing about the Last Days, Before the Rapture.   Then I started thinking of Zombies, so I had to finish, My Zombie Date, which I started a few years ago.  I have the covers for the next two b

I Wrote 125,000 Words Within 2 Months

Amazon This book is a bit outdated, but it is how I started back in 2011.  It has my writing schedule and how I learned on my own.  I published a short story every month.  That is how I learned to Self-Publish.  So as of today My Total Word Count or the Challenge I created for my self in October, I completed.  I made my Goal of 125,000 words written by December 31, 2020 October Words Written:  46,639 November Words Written:  55,668 December Words Written:  24,500  Total:  126,807 My word count is up, since I have been doing this challenge. You can do the same.  Write a short story Around 5,000 words and publish it on January 1st, 2021  I Published 5 books in 2020.  I Published: 1.   The Cross 2.   Write Your Own Testimony 3.   Jesus Says... 4.   Read The Bible Within A Year 5.   That Bible Warning Write in long hand or on the computer.  Write and then you are a writer.  Writer

Word Count Update

It is December 12, 2020 Words written this month:  17,500 words  Words Written since October 7, 2020 Goal:  125,000 Words written Deadline:  December 31, 2020 Total Word Count:  119,807 Words Left To Write: 5,193 Since I started this challenge, my word count is up.  I am writing more, more productive.   In 2021:  I will be keeping track of my word count everyday.  I am going to try to write 1 million words in 2021.  It will keep me focused.  I want to publish 6 fiction books in 2021. I will publish a Zombie book in January.   I have a rough draft that needs editing and hopefully that book will be published in Feb or March. So follow my blog and see how I Write-Edit-Publish in 2020 I could publish the Zombie Novel this month, but I want to start the year off with a published book in January. Leave a comment and let me know what you are working on.

I Love To Write & Hate To Edit

The Future Is Now I wrote and published this book in less than a month.  As you all know I am a Bible Believing King James Version Believer.  I am a Christian.  I also am a Zombie Writer.  I say this, because the Bible clearly states that we are living in the Last Days.   So I enter in the New Year in a couple of weeks, I sense an urgency on my writing.  I know that the Rapture can happen at any moment and I want to warn others, so they can prepare for the Rapture Buy Now I have been editing Zombie Book that I wrote a few years ago and never got around to editing the book.  So I will publish it in January.  I am in editing mode and I hate it.  I also have a rough draft that I finished a week or so ago and that has to be edited.  Then I have another story, based on my life and that is half written and I am working on that. So my point is:  In 2021 I will be more focused on editing books and publishing them.  Once I publish them on Amazon, the books are there until Amazon is no longer,

Word Count Udate

I have been slacking a bit this month.  I am writing and I am also editing a Book I want to publish by the year's end or in January. Word Count This Month So Far: 11,500 Words this month. Total Word Count Since October 7,2020 113807 Words written Goal: 125,000 Words by December 31,2020 Words Left to Write: 11,193 This is doable, if I stay focused.   Since I have been doing this challenge:  My word count has increased.  I now have a rough draft that needs editing, which I hate, and that is what slows me down. So if I can do this, you can do this. October wrote 46,639 Words November wrote 55,668 Words December wrote so far:  11,5000 words I will be keeping track of my Writing 2021 I will post what I do everyday of 2021 If I do not do anything with writing I will let you know. Don't Limit Yourself To Only One Genre

Can you believe that the year is almost over?  How is your writing going????? I am King James Bible Believer.  I believe that God created the universe and this world just for us.  I believe that Jesus died on the cross, Jesus went to the pit of hell and defeated Satan, and that God raised Jesus from the day.  I believe that Jesus is sitting in Heaven next to God.  I believe that we are on the Cusp of the Rapture, when Jesus comes back for His Children. Having said that, I don't see anything wrong with horror movies.  I myself likes a good Zombie movie.   My first book that I published was my Testimony, My Bible--My God My second book was Always Forever---A Paranormal Romance Then I started my Zombies Stories  Me VS Zombies The last Fiction Book I wrote was The Cross If you are Self-Publishing your writings, you do not have to limit yourself to one Genre.  Write what you want and publish it Amazon All My Books Found Here You can write and publish what you want.  Don't limit you

Write & Publish An E-book Every Month

Buy Now! I wrote this book and published this book in a month.  The story is around 20,000 words.   Zombie Zoo I wrote this short story in long hand in one sitting.  I just wrote whatever came to mind.  This is how I started writing a short story a month. This is how I learned to publish on Amazon.  I knew nothing when I started.  I had to learn a few things.  Now I have over 70 E-books and Print Books on Amazon. You have to start somewhere. If you want to be a Self-Published Writer, write a short story and publish it as an E-Book.  Dip your toe into the world of publishing.  It is easier than you think. Write a 5,000 word to 20,000 word story, edit it and go to Amazon and Publish it.  You have to start somewhere.  You don't even have to tell anyone.  Just do it.  You will be thrilled when you have your first sell. How I did It This book is a bit outdated, but it is how I started and my writing schedule.  My Goal was to publish 50 E-Books and I did it.  I have my writing and publ

Stop Complaining & Write

This year is almost over.  I realize that this has been a terrible year for most people around the world.  Lives have changed as the world has changed.  So my question to everyone around the world is how are you handling the changes in your life?  How are you coping?  If you are in some of the Facebook Writing Groups, you  will see that people are writing and publishing more this year than ever, because they are stuck home and what else are you going to do? Others are on Facebook complaining that they are stressed and can not write.  I have always been interested in how and where people write.  I learned how to write on a 1950 manual Underwood Typewriter.  Before computers, we had to use a manual typewriter.  Then in the 1500's 1800's they used pen and ink and wrote everything by hand, and had to be careful not to smear the ink.  I like the movie about Shelly Frankenstein about her life.  She was poor.  She had no money.  Where she did live was cold, and drafty, but she wrote

Word Count Update

It has been five days since I blogged.  I haven't written anything for 4 days.  Sinus Headaches.  I wrote in long hand and attempted to write on the computer but didn't do much, so I am not counting those words.  Might of been a hundred words or more.  But I am not counting them. Yesterday, Headaches were gone.  My head was clear and I wrote 5,000 words. I did finish a rough draft of the novel I was working on.  Yesterday I started working on the next novel in the series.   Words to Date 102,139 I started October 7, 2020 counting the words I write. Goal 125,000 Deadline:  December 31, 2020 Words left to write;  22,861 So if you want to write and worry that you don't write everyday, You can see by what I am doing, you do not have to write everyday, though it is better if you do.   I now have a rough draft of a novel that I can rework and am starting the next novel of the series.   Even on the days, I didn't write, I wrote in longhand a bit or just jotted down some notes

Rough Draft Complete

I wrote most of today.  I finished the rough draft of the novel that I was writing.  I wrote 5,000 words today.  Since October 7th I have written 97,000 words. I am not sure of the title, I keep changing the title, but I am very happy with it. I printed out a hard copy and tomorrow I will read through it and take notes.   I am going to start the rough of the next novel, while I start editing this novel.  I am very excited. How is your writing going?   This year is going fast, so I will be talking about goals for next year.   Just wanted to post this and let you know

You Don't Have To Write Everyday

I  don't write everyday.  It is said to write everyday,  That would be the perfect solution if life is perfect.  Life is not perfect.  So far this month I have written 38.500 words.  That is pretty good for me.  If you are on Facebook and are in some writing groups that is great, but there are people who write fast and that is find.   There is one writer who wrote 50,000 words in a week.  Since this is the month of Nano.  Which is fine but not everyone can do that.  I am in awe of people who do.  There are writers who write and publish a book a month.  A 50,000 word novel a month. I am in awe of that person who can do that.  I am not one of those people I write.  I have over 70 plus E-Books and Print Books published on Amazon   All My Books   I have been Self-Publishing since 2011. I have missed 6 days of writing this month. How I started November 17th I wrote 5,000 Words November 18th I wrote 2,000 Words November 19th I wrote 3,000 words Goal:  125,000 Words Deadline:  December 3

Story Telling Is Universal

Story Telling has been around since the beginning of time: Writing is Universal.  Writing is power.  Writing is strength.  Writing is personal. In today's world, with all this high tech, the younger people are not learning how to write.  They are learning to type.   When was the last time you received a letter or a postcard?  What would you rather have, a postcard of someone texting you? I am old school.  I like to write letters.  I like to send cards.  I just made out my Christmas Cards for this year, and at this moment, they are in the mail box, waiting to be picked up my the mail service.  People don't send Christmas Cards any more.  It is not because of computers.  People have gotten lazy and don't really care anymore. I care.  One day there might be a world without books and no one writes anymore.  Everything will be on the screen.  No human contact.  No human emotions.  We will be just like robots,, staring at a screen. I don't want to live in that world. I am a w

A Writer's Morning Writing Routine

11/10/20 Words Written Today:  5,000 Goal:  125,000 Words Deadline:  125,000 Words Words Written To Date:  72,139 Words Left To Write:  52,861 I wrote most of yesterday.  I first started writing in bed and wrote around 2,000 words.  Later in the afternoon, I moved into the living room and wrote 3,000 words, but not in one sitting.  I finished around 8PM   So I feel pretty good about that.  I am going to try that again today. I don't do what typical writer's do in the morning.  There is no right or wrong way of where  to write, when to write.  Every writer is different. I have a desk.  Right now it is covered with other stuff, and not my laptop.  I have an office, though I don't use it.  When I am in my office, I feel like I am at work.  I have to produce.  When I write in bed or in front to the TV, I can write and let the words flow and I don't feel pressure to produce.  I write because I want to. I get up when I wake up.  I have to go let the chickens out of the coop,

Word Count Is Adding Up

It has been a few days since I have blogged.  Time seems to be just passing by. I looked to see when the last time I blogged it was November 4,2020 and now it is November 10, 2020 I am still writing.  I have missed 2 of those days, so the days I did write was a total of 9,000 words. Written Words, since the last time I blogged:  9,000 Goal:  125,000 Words Deadline: December 31, 2020 Words left to Write:  57,861 Words Already Written:  67,139 Last Month I Wrote:  46,639 So keep writing.  As you write, those words will add up and you will be able to finish that book

Time Change Sucks

11/5/20 Words Written Today:  3,000 Goal:  125,000 words Deadline:  December 31, 2020 Words Left to Write:69,861 Words Written:  55,139 I did better today than I did yesterday.   The time change in America has messed me up.  I am getting up earlier and am not in a good mood when I get up.  I am not a morning person, and it takes longer for me to get moving in the right direction Before we had to turn our clocks back, I would get up in a good mood and ready to write and quite productive.  Now we turned the clocks back an hour (How Stupid is that?) I get up at 6 in the morning and am not happy at all I am writing this at 8 in the morning.  I have been up for 2 hours and just am not motivated.  I know it is the time change.  So I just have to move forward and write, whether I feel like it or not. How is the time change effecting you?

Some Days Words Don't Flow

11/4/20 Words Written:  1,000 Goal:  125,000 Deadline:  December 31, 2020 Words Written: 52,139 Words Left To Write:  72,861 I didn't get much writing done yesterday.  I had some errands to do, and when I did write, the words did not flow and it took me a long time to just write 1,000 words.  My heart was not in it.  So I pushed myself to write a 1,000 words. Today is another day and hopefully I will write more words. I went to the Dollar Tree yesterday, for people who don't know what kind of store that is:  In the store, everything is One Dollar.  I bought a wall calendar, a desk calendar and a planning calendar.  For One Dollar each.   I am getting ready for 2021.  I do this every year.  I try to get organized for next year.   So my goal is to write 5,000 words today.  No idea if I am going to reach that goal, but I am going to try.

NANO 50,000 Words Is Doable----Don't Give Up

Last Month I Wrote 46,639 Words, the month of October Now it is November: Yesterday, 11/3/20 Words Written:  4,000 Words Goal:  125,000 Words Deadline:  December 31, 2020 Words Written to Date:51,139 Words Left To Write:  73,861 In the month of October I missed 5 days of writing and I Still managed to write 46,639 Words in October. I averaged around 2,000-3,000 words a day.   When I first started writing, I was lucky if I wrote 500 words a day.  The more you write, the faster and easier the words flow, Anyone can do this, if they want it bad enough    Buy Now I started writing and Self-Publishing in 2011.  In 2015 I wrote-edit-published a short story a month.  I learned how to Self- Publish.  Times have changed.  I thought I was doing good, by writing a short story a month.   Now writers are publishing a Book a Month around 50,000 Words or more. I am nowhere in their league, but if you don't write, you will never be published.   In 2021 My Goal is to publish my 4 Book Novel Series

This is what happened to me yesterday: Write 2,000 Words------Delete 2,000 Words------Write 2,000 Words-----Delete 2,000 Words In total I wrote around 4,000 words.  I wrote----Took A Break------Deleted------Wrote Again----Took A Break-----Delete again So I think I am on the right track now, so hopefully I won't have to delete what I write to day. Has this ever happened to you???? 10/10/28/20 Wrote 4,000 Words  Goal:  125,000 Deadline:  December 31,2020 Words Left To Write:119,689 I am not that good at math, but if I am figuring this out, I am doing pretty good.  I know that I have missed 5 days of writing, but the point is to write, writing shouldn't  be hard.  Writing is a choice.   So don't beat yourself up if you don't write everyday or if you have to delete pages or scenes.

Writer's Update

This was taped on my wall when I was writing my  Zombie Series   My goal back in 2015 was to have published 50 E-Books by the end of 2015.  They were short Zombie Stories and a few Non-Fiction books.  I made my goal.   Flash forward to 2020 5 years later.  What happened to me?  I was writing, editting and publishing a short story every month, sometimes two short stories.  There was nothing going to stop me.   Now I have or 70 E-Books and Print Books on Amazon.   Now I want to write longer books.  Books with more depth and substance.   When I was writing a short story every month.  I worked nights, slept during the day.  I did not change my sleep habits when I had days off.  So on my nights off, I still slept during the day and got up around 9:00PM and was up the entire night and went back to bed in the morning around 10:00AM I wrote all night long, sometimes for 12 hours.  On the computer writing, editing or publishing.  While I was at work, I could write a short story in long hand a

I also printed out what I had written of the 2nd book in the series.  It has 10,000 words written so far.   I like to see what I had written out on paper.  I like to hold it in my hands.  I am old school and don't do everything on the computer.  I don't save anything in the cloud.  have no idea what that is.   I am going to read the hard copy of the first book, make changes on paper before I go back to the computer and rewrite the scenes.  I do use a lot of ink and paper when I am rewriting a book. Get That Book Written & Published---Time Is Of The Essence

10/22/20 Words Written:  3,119 Goal:  125,000 Deadline:  December 31,2020 Words Left To Write: 81,814 Total Word Count, 43,186 Book 1: Rough Draft Complete Book 2:  Started Rough Draft Today I started this goal of writing 25,000 Words by the end of the year on 10/7/2020 In the last 16 days I have written 43,186  I am quite surprised by what I have written.  I have never been this productive or focused.  I am not sure why my mindset has changed, but for me, it is now or never. If you follow my Blog, Jesus Is The Way  you would know that I believe that we are living in the last days before the Rapture. So with the Rapture coming, then the Anti-Christ and The Mark of The Beast, time is running out, as we live in these final days, before all the Believers are taken up into Heaven.   So the series that I am writing has to do with living in the last days before the Rapture.  So I have no time to waste.  I have to get these books written and published.  The people who are left behind will ha

2 Months Left To Write in 2020: Goals

10/21/20 Words Written: 3,000 Goal:  125,000 Words Deadline: December 31, 2020 Words Left To Write:  87,933 Words To Go! I wrote 3,000 words in one sitting.  I knew I had things to do in the afternoon, so I wrote 3,000 words and called it a day. I have the Rough Draft of Book 1 finished.  It is a very rough draft.  But it is finished enough that I can start making major changes in the book.  I can write Rough Drafts with no problem.  Because I am just letting the words flow.  Not thinking, not editing and not caring.  I just let the Characters talk.  Kinda like journaling .  I just write. Now I have a Rough Draft, I am going to have to make changes, add more detail and make the story readable.  This is where the work comes in.   Anyone can write a Rough Draft. A Writer makes the Rough Draft into a Readable Book My goal is still to write 125,000 words by December 31, 2020 so I still have to write at least 3,000 words a day, if I want to publish my 4 Book Series in 2021. There is only 2

Writing A 4 Book Series

10/20/20 Writes Wrote Today:  4,787 Goal:  125,000 Deadline: December 31, 2020 Words Left To Write:  87,933 I have a 5 Book I want to write.  It has been in my head for over a year, but now I have to get it the story on paper and get it published.  The Characters are screaming at me.  I have no choice but to write their story. Each Book will be a Stand Alone Book, but there will a connection mentioned that ties all 4 books together.  I have a general idea of what each book is.  Plots, Characters and Conflict.   So Book 1 I had a rough draft half finished. Then I wanted to write the last book so I would know how it would all end and then I could go back to the other books and add things that make all the books connect. So I decided  to write 125,000 and write the last book, and then go back to the first book.  Are you confused yet???  I am. I have characters screaming in my head. So I stopped working on the last book, because I am having problems with plot problems.  So I went back to

Missed 2 Days of Writing

On 10/15/20 Words Written:  3,000 Goal:  125,000 Deadline December 31, 2020 Words Left To Write:  96,895 Words I was doing good.  I wrote 9 days straight and my word count was increasing.  Then a terrible headache came upon me, as it usually does, when I begin to think, things are going my way.  I get headaches at least twice a month.  So for me today is Sunday, the 18th.  I didn't write the 16th or 17th of this month.  I couldn't focus on anything. Today the headache is still there, but I can focus.  So I plan on writing 3,000 words today.   If I am going to make my goal of 125,000 and end up with an rough draft of my book, then I need to push myself more and not just coast.  Now, for me, 1,000 words a day is not good enough.  I am going to try and push myself a bit more and not be okay with 1,000 words a day.   So I am off to write.......

Movies Are Plotted Just Like Books

10/14/2020 Words I Wrote Today:  2,357 Goal:  125,000 Deadline: December 31, 2020 Words Left To Write:  99,895 I am now under 100,000 words, that was my goal yesterday I wanted to get under 100,000 words.   I was watching Handmaid's Tale yesterday for 4 episodes of Season 2 when I should of been writing.  I wrote my word count in the morning so I could binge watch a few episodes.   It is a good series, but as I watch the series, I notice that each Episode is Named and it is jus like an episode of any show.  A beginning, A middle and An End.  That is how each scene of the book should be.  Goal, Conflict, Resolution. I am also an Outlander Fan and have all 5 Seasons of that series.  If you want to see the Hero get into conflict after every turn.  Watch this series.  Again, Every Episode is a mini movie.  A Beginning, Middle and End.   So when I binge watch these series, I watch for goal, conflict, resolution.  Just like when I am watching a movie, I am watching for Plot Points.  I c

Still Writing, Still Plugging Away

10/12/2020 Words Written:  3,134 Goal:  125,000 Words Written Deadline :December 31,2020 Words Left To Write:  103,566 I wasn't able to write in the morning, like I like to.  Life got in the way.  I surprised myself,  I wrote in the afternoon, in front of the TV.   I am doing my best not to skip a day.  I want to write everyday, to keep my mind on the story. I have new ideas for the beginning.  Then I want to change the character's names.  But I am just not going to do that yet.  My goal is to write a rough draft, no matter how terrible it is.  This is what stops me from writing a longer book.  I keep rewriting and rewriting and I never get to the end.  I hope this time I will finish the book.  No matter how bad the rough draft is.  This is a personal goal for me.  No one will see the rough draft except me. I haven't written today.  I got up at 6AM and instead of writing, I watched 4 Episodes of the Handmade Series.  So I am going to have to write this afternoon.   Buy Now

The Rough Draft: To Stop & Do Some Rewriting Or Just Keep Going With The Rough Draft

I have started writing this morning.  But while I was sleeping, I came up with other ideas for the story.  So I have to decide, to keep writing the rough draft without going back and doing some rewrite, or make some changes. I am not sure yet.  But I am writing today.  I will let you know how it goes today.   I do think I am going to put my ideas in the Book, but will continue on with the rough draft. Have to go to town in a few minutes,   Talk to ya later

Writing Interrupted

10/11/20 I was in a writing mood, and I was typing away, then I was interrupted.  I had to go and clean the chicken coop.  Yes I probably clean the coup out more often than I should.  It was getting a bet smelly in there.  Then there were leaves to be blown and put into the garden area.  My writing stalled.  I did manage to write this after noon Word Count: 1,792 Goal  125,000 Words Deadline December 31, 2020 Words Left To Write:  106,708 I need to print out a hard copy of what I have written so far and do a bit more plotting.   How did you do with your writing today?

Where Do You Write?

10/10/20  Word Count: 3, 000 Words Goal 125,000 Words Deadline:  December 31, 2020 I wrote 3,000 words in the morning.  I didn't write in the afternoon. I do not sit at a desk.  I sit in bed, with my laptop on my legs and type for 2-4 hours.  I blog before I start writing and do somethings on the internet before I start writing, so I am not thinking about other things when I write. So I write in bed or in my recliner  in front of the TV. I have an office.  I have a nice office, but when I sit at the desk, I feel all my creative juices drain from my body.  I feel that I need to be perfect and produce something. When I write in bed, I can just let my mind go and just write.  I know that it is all in my head, but I can write, edit and publish in bed, so that is where I do most of my writing. My bed is my desk.  I have notebooks, hard copy of what I am working on next to me. I know that it does not work for most people but we are all different.  So write where you want.  You don'

Writing The 1st Rough Draft

Yesterday, 10/9/2020 I wrote 3,131 Goal: 125,000 Words Deadline December 31,2020 Words Left To Write:111,634 I did real well writing.  I didn't write all the words, at once.  I wrote 1,000 words in the morning.  I then had to go and check on the chickens.  I have 14 chickens that are a bit spoiled.  Then I wrote, another 1,000 words in front of the TV, and then the last 1,000 words later in front of the TV.  I am trying to write at least 1,000 words in one sitting. I also wrote a summary of how I want the book to end. If you don't know where you are going. how are you going to know when you get there? I also wrote a brief summary of the Prologue.  I like Prologues.  I know writing books tell you not to write them, but in my books I have Prologue. So I know how the story starts.  I know how the story ends.   I do not stop to make any corrections.  I have misspelled words and places I want to edit.  I will type in CAPITAL LETTERS to make notes: Example:  DESCRIBE HOUSE, NEED MOR

I Am My Own Worse Enemy

Day 2 of Writing 125,000 Words I didn't write as much as I wanted to.  But I did write. Yesterday I wrote: 1,470 words. Goal: 125,000 words Deadline December 31,2020 Words Left to write. 114,765 I know I can do better.  I am own worse enemy. I have self-doubt.  I think whatever I write is terrible.  In my head, I hear "You are stupid and no one is going to read this.  Stupid, Stupid, Stupid" My mind keeps going back to when I was in grade school.  I wrote a short story.  I stood in the bathroom doorway and asked my mother if she would read my story.  She was on her knees, cleaning the toilet, and her reply was.  "I am to busy for that." To this day, she has never read anything I wrote.  that is in my head and can't get it out.  so I am going to write this book for me and no one else.  It is my personal goal.  No one cares if I write or not.  God cares.  God gave me this gift of writing and I am not going to waste it.  If  you have a story to write, don'

It's The Journey Not The Destination

You have heard it before, it is the journey not the destination. That is probably true.   I have an idea for a big book.  500 page book.  4 Characters viewpoint in each chapter..  That means that I will have 4 major character Arks.  That means that I will have 4 main characters in every chapter. It is a Road trip book with a map, a goal and destination.  Every character will have a different goal.   Why do I want to write this book.  Because it is in my head.  I want this book out of my head. So I have took a step yesterday on this journey. Yesterday I wrote 2,168 words Goal is to write 125,000 words Deadline December 31,2020 Words left to write, 116,235 I will be blogging on my progress on my word count. I know in another post I said that I was not going to keep track on word count.  I can write 1,000-3,000 words a day and they might just be starting a new story or working on a story, but not being focused on one book. This word count is for one book.  I want to write everyday at lea

What Is Stopping You From Writing Your Book?

Buy Now When I started self-publishing back in 2011, it was not as popular.  I could write a short story and sell them with no problem.  That is when I wrote the  Me VS Zombie Series   I was writing a short story once a month and published one episode every month.  My writing Schedule is in the Book Serialize Your Fiction.  That is all I did for a year.  I was on a mission.  So I can write short fiction.  That is not my problem. Buy Now I wrote this book in one week.  I think it was about 15,000 words when I was finished.   So I can write and publish with no problem. The Problem Is: I want to write a 500 Page Novel. I have made my Character charts, and placed pictures on my wall.   It is a Road Trip Novel. I have the idea in my head.  I have the beginning.  I have an ending. I have unique characters. So what is my problem???? My scenes are too short. I am just intimadated by the fact that I have to come up with enough conflict, drama, character growth to cover 500 pages. Why did I de

I Hate Editing!!!!

I wrote a 10,000 word Short Story.  One would think that editing would not be so bad, it is just about 25 pages single spaced.  I worked on it all day yesterday.  Today I have to write a bit more to expand a couple of scenes. I have already done my book cover using the Kindle Book Maker.  I have done everything on  KDP   so I am ready to publish.  I just have to finish editing the book and to write a bit more.  I even have the back matter of the book finished.   I wish I could just write the book and publish the rough draft and move onto the next book. I know, it doesn't work like that. I have to go check on my chickens and then I will come back and work on the short story.  I would like to publish it this weekend.

Wrote Short Story In One Day

Publish A Short Story Within A Month A few years ago when I wrote the Zombie Series  Me VS Zombies I wrote a short story every month and published a short story every month. I am working on a new series, and I wanted to write and publish a short story, to get my series going. Yesterday I wrote 6,000 words, It is a rough draft, but I kept writing until I got the jest of the story.  The short story will be around 10,000 words when all is said and done.  This book is going to be a book I will put on Amazon for FREE when the other books are published. The back matter of the book with have my Bio.  I am going to write a Bio which will be the same for all the future books.  Where to Find Me Page Where to Find All My Books I am thinking of this book as an Introduction To The Series.  My goal is have it published in September.  I am thinking of publishing other short stories between the longer books, so the readers will stay interested while I write the longer books.
