Free June 30-July 4   I am going to start making my books free on KDP Select.  I am going to be promoting the free books more.  I have done this in the past.  I have had downloads, even when I didn't promote it.  So this time I am going to devote more time to promoting the Free Book and see what happens.  It is a good way to get your name out.  I will keep you posted

I quit my job February 23, 2019 I was tired.  I was cranky and I just wanted to write.  I have said for years, "I just want to take a year off to write."  The time came.  I put my notice in.  The day I walked out of that building and never looked back.  Sure I have to watch my money.  Ink for the printer is not cheap.  The internet is not cheap.  Writing supplies is not cheap.  Then there is monthly bills.  I downsized and willing to give up a few things so I can stay home to write. E-Book I have been sitting at the computer for the past 5 hours, trying to format this book in Print Form.  I already did it, ordered my proof copy.(Which I encourage everyone to do)  I can see what it will look like.  I don't want to depend totally on the book previewer on the online. I had to fix a few things.  I did.  Loaded up new file.  reviewed the book, found something else I didn't like.  I did this 3 times.  Thankful, God was watching over me and it worked.  I have ordered proof copy of the current edition of the book. I will then go over every single page, words and letters to make sure I didn't miss anything, before I hit the publish button.  If I find something I want to change, I can and upload the new version.  Print Version is more time consuming, but not hard at all. 1.. I have been on  Facebook  and on one group I am a member, they post picture of their computer with the words The End, celebrating the fact that they finished their book.  The computer is always on a desk. How many people do not write at a desk? Am I the only one? I have an office. I write in bed.  I am sitting in bed right now and this is where I write.  I lean back against pillows and write.  I do have to get up and walk around about every hour or so.  I wrote in bed when I didn't have a desk.  Now I have an office and still write in bed.  I have piles of books, magazines and papers piled up in the bedroom. Am I the only one who writes this way? UPDATE ON MY WRITING PROGRESS I received the proof copy of  Prepare For The Rapture I need to fix a few things.  I am still busy working on the book The Cross. I published this book a week or so ago, Now I am working on the print version.  For me this is a tedious, and time consuming.  I downloaded a template of the size of Book I wanted.  Inserted the file into the template.  It was so easy.  I then made corrections to make sure each page is the way I wanted it.  I uploaded my file.  I know it is not perfect, but I want to see what the book cover looks like and what the contents of the book looks like and then I can make any corrections with the print book in front of me.  So now I wait for the print book.  It only cost me $2.76 plus tax. If anyone of you who is reading and following my blog.  I want to make this perfectly clear, If I can do this, you can do this.
