Publishing On Amazon

E-Book

I have been sitting at the computer for the past 5 hours, trying to format this book in Print Form.  I already did it, ordered my proof copy.(Which I encourage everyone to do)  I can see what it will look like.  I don't want to depend totally on the book previewer on the online.

I had to fix a few things.  I did.  Loaded up new file.  reviewed the book, found something else I didn't like.  I did this 3 times.  Thankful, God was watching over me and it worked.  I have ordered proof copy of the current edition of the book.

I will then go over every single page, words and letters to make sure I didn't miss anything, before I hit the publish button.  If I find something I want to change, I can and upload the new version.

Print Version is more time consuming, but not hard at all.

1.. I picked the size of the book I want.  KDP
2.  Down Load the Template,
3.  Save the Template in Word
4.  Insert File.
5.  Make any changes you need.
6.  Safe File.
7.  Upload file atKindle Direct Publishing

It might seem a bit daunting, but it is not.  It is easy.  Just Time consuming.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
