Missed 2 Days of Writing

 On 10/15/20

Words Written:  3,000

Goal:  125,000

Deadline December 31, 2020

Words Left To Write:  96,895 Words

I was doing good.  I wrote 9 days straight and my word count was increasing.  Then a terrible headache came upon me, as it usually does, when I begin to think, things are going my way.  I get headaches at least twice a month.  So for me today is Sunday, the 18th.  I didn't write the 16th or 17th of this month.  I couldn't focus on anything.

Today the headache is still there, but I can focus.  So I plan on writing 3,000 words today.  

If I am going to make my goal of 125,000 and end up with an rough draft of my book, then I need to push myself more and not just coast.  Now, for me, 1,000 words a day is not good enough.  I am going to try and push myself a bit more and not be okay with 1,000 words a day.  

So I am off to write.......

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

 SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

Don't Be Scammed

This is my number one pet peeve on being self published.  There are people, website, and courses out there, that want your money. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEND! There are websites out there that will charge you for services that you can learn to do yourself.  If you don't want to learn these things that is fine, pay for it.  But if the reason that you are paying for services is because you don't t think you can, you are totally wrong. I have said this before and I am saying it again.  I knew nothing when I started in 2011,  I had a computer.  I had no idea how to send a file via e-mail. I had no idea what to do one I got the file back from the formatter.  How do I get it uploaded on Amazon.  I had no idea that I had more than one drive on the computer.  I downloaded a file and had no idea where it went.
