Story Telling Is Universal

Story Telling has been around since the beginning of time:

Writing is Universal.  Writing is power.  Writing is strength.  Writing is personal.

In today's world, with all this high tech, the younger people are not learning how to write.  They are learning to type.

When was the last time you received a letter or a postcard?  What would you rather have, a postcard of someone texting you?

I am old school.  I like to write letters.  I like to send cards.  I just made out my Christmas Cards for this year, and at this moment, they are in the mail box, waiting to be picked up my the mail service.  People don't send Christmas Cards any more.  It is not because of computers.  People have gotten lazy and don't really care anymore.

I care.  One day there might be a world without books and no one writes anymore.  Everything will be on the screen.  No human contact.  No human emotions.  We will be just like robots,, staring at a screen.

I don't want to live in that world.

I am a writer.  I write.  I write letters.  I send cards.  I write books.  That is why I publish E-Books and Print Books so I can hold my books in my hand and give them to someone.  I want a book signing of my books, so I can sign my books and hand it to a person who stood in line to meet me.

I am a writer.  That is who God created me to be.  I write,  I publish.

I have not blogged for the last couple of days.  So here is my update:

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Instead, I write.  I might not write 2,000 words everyday.  What I do everyday is, I write.  I write and it might only be 100 words, but I wrote something. I blog and I consider that writing.  I have people come to my blog everyday.  People are reading what I write, like you are reading what I have written, therefore I am a writer.   I know that it is lonely sometimes and you wonder why bother.  I write to live.  I can not write. You can be a self-published writer in less than a mont...
