What I Have Learned from NANO

I am not going to make 50,000 words by the end of the month,

I am writing everyday, and I have learned a few things.

1.  I feel to much pressure to write a lot everyday.

2.  After 2,000 words, I need a break.

3.  Usually after I right 2,000 words, my mind is drained.

4.  After my break from writing 2,000 words, I usually do the rest of my writing in long hand or blog or just think.

5.  I work on more than one book at a time, so I am constantly working on one book, one day and the next day might work on another book.

6.  I need to be more organized.

7.  I am a writer no matter how I write each day.

8.  I continue to write everyday.

9.  Everyday my word count is different.

10.  If I don't write one day, life will go on.

Good luck to everyone who is plugging away.    You are almost to the finish line.

What are you learning from doing NANO?

I did stop counting my word count.  I do hope you all will do better than me.

Don't give up.  You can do it.

Write On!!!

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
