Writing More Than One Book At A Time

Yesterday, I was trying to get organized.

1.  Cleaned up the pile of papers that just seem to pile up.

2.  Decided to put all of my books on a new flash drive.  All the books will be in one place.

3.  Made a a file for each book.  Then I can work on any one of the books with them all being on the same flash drive and a file already made for each book.

4.  I have book covers for each book.  I can start setting up each book at KDP

5.  I have my CD's close by, the music that I listen to when I write.

Four of the books are all connected so I have to make sure the time line is the same and then I can go to each file and make notes if I need to.

Each book will be around 50,000 Words.  Longer if need be.

Now I just need to decide where I am going to write them.  I have a cute little office that I really like, the problem is that I have been writing in my bedroom and on my bed for years and now that I have an office, well, I still write in bed.  I need to break that habit.

So that is where I am at.  Every book is in my head.  I see each book like a movie.  I just now need to get in down on paper and get the books published.

Where are you at in your writing?

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
