Wow!, I haven't blogged in over than a month. Time goes quickly when one does not have a regular job. I quit my job, 6 months ago, going on 7 months. I wrote and published one book.

1. I have a rough draft of the 1st book in a new series, that needs to be edited and rewritten in a few spots. Getting closer to sending it to the editor
2. I am way done with the 2nd book in the series. Probably be done by the end of next week and then the rewrite will begin.
3. I have the 3rd book, plotted out. I will be able to start the rough draft when I finish the rough draft of the 2nd book.
4. I know I lack a schedule in the blogging part of my writing. I am going to have to keep a better schedule.
5. I gathered all my print books that I have published on Amazon. I have over 10 Print Books on Amazon and have published over 50 E-books on Amazon All of my books.
6. I need to start acting like a writer. I like to write in my recliner in front of the tv. I like to write in bed. I moved everything that pertains to writing into my office. I now go to my office every morning to write. I am acting like a writer.
I do believe that I am on the right track in my writing career. I write first thing in the morning, until noon or so. I am averaging around 3,000 words a day.
Blogging takes about an hour. I blog on this blog and I blog on My Other Blog
I write everyday, but now I am in my office. I am more focused and productive.
I am going to try the Rapid Release publishing style and see how that goes, so that is motivating me to write everyday.
So it doesn't matter where, when or how you write as long as you write. It is like taking a step, one word at a time.
This is how I wrote and published a short story every month, sometimes twice a month and I ended up with over 50 E-Books on Amazon. Included is my writing and publishing schedule I planned out and then my actual writing and publishing schedule.
When I wrote the Me VS Zombies Series in 2011, there was not such a thing as Rapid Release Publishing, but I can tell you that I did sell books and had a following. The more you publish, the more books you will sell.
After the Zombie Series, I was a bit burned out and turned my attention to my faith and wrote books about my Walk with God. Now I am back writing on a new series with a Christian theme. Living in the last days.
Whatever you are writing. You need to write everyday or at least be thinking about your book. It is easier than you think. If I can do this, so can you.
Keep On Writing.
