NANo

November is the month where writers come together all around the world to write 50,000 Words in one month.

I have attempted to do this in past years.

NANO

50,000 Words break down to 1,667 words a day.  That is doable.

The problem is that you need to write 1,667 words every day or more.

Something to think about.

I just received the latest issue of Writer's Digest November/December. I read the article on NANO.

I am thinking about doing this.  If I do this, I will post my daily word count everyday.  We all can do this together.

I have a personal story that I want to write as fiction.  I was thinking that if I write it fast without thinking about what I should leave out or put in, I would have the rough draft done within 30 Days and I would be able to edit it, but the story is written.

If I do the NANO that will be a fresh story that I haven't started and one that I want to write.

What do think????  You willing to Join me to write 50,000 words with the rest of the world?

OR

Is this a stupid idea?

Leave a comment and let me know.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
