Writing At Work

I think about my writing while I work.  My job is not that hard, making donuts and waiting on customers.  While I was on break yesterday I wrote down some thoughts and made some notes.  Then I had to watch the front and wait on customers, in between customers I started making more notes.  When I arrived home, I had about 5 pages of notes.  Not bad for just thinking at work.

Then when I did get ready to write, I had some notes to get me going in the right direction.  I know that not all of you can write while at work, but make notes when you can so you don't forget your ideas.

The other day I had a great idea, and by the time I was ready to write it down, I forgot it and it took me a few hours to remember it.  So I did to keep making notes.  Not a bad idea.  I wear jeans to work so I just put paper in pen in my back pocket.  No one knows at work that I am writing while I am working.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
