Writing 12 Hours A Day

I had my two days off.  I wrote 12 hours on both days.  I can not wait till I can stay home and write everyday.  I accomplished a lot in the last two days.  But as usual, I have to go back to my job that pays my bills.

I know that we are all in the same boat.  Finding time to write.

I find that right when I get up is the best time for me to write.  I don't do anything else.  I get up grab something to drink, which is a soda....I know it is not healthy, but it wakes me up.  Turn the computer on and start writing.

I get up a bit early to write before I go to work.  I while I am on my breaks.  I carry my notebook with me everywhere I go.  I don't care what others think.  I am a writer and I am going to write whenever and wherever.

How can I write 12 hours on my day off?  I treat is as a job.  I do it, whether I feel like it or not.  I make a list of what I need to do before my days off so when I get up, I know what I am going to do.  I don't have to think about it.

I think of my writing as a business.  I claim it on my taxes.  If it is a business one must show up for work.

Time goes by so fast for me when I write.  When I write for 12 hours that is also being on twitter and facebook and promoting my books.

Start looking for things you can cut out in your daily life to spend more time on writing.  If you opened a business, you would make sure you were there on time to open the store, wouldn't you???  So get up and make time for your writing.

I feel more alive when I write and am thinking about writing.  If you are not writing, what is so important that you are doing????  watching tv,,watching funny cat vidieos????/

You are a writer.  Write

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Instead, I write.  I might not write 2,000 words everyday.  What I do everyday is, I write.  I write and it might only be 100 words, but I wrote something. I blog and I consider that writing.  I have people come to my blog everyday.  People are reading what I write, like you are reading what I have written, therefore I am a writer.   I know that it is lonely sometimes and you wonder why bother.  I write to live.  I can not write. You can be a self-published writer in less than a mont...
