Back to Reality

I took 2 weeks off for vacation.  I didn't write.  I was not on the computer.  How did I survive?  I had a great time.  Now my problem is that I have forgotten a couple of pass words.  I forgot which drive I saved my writing on.  I also forgot to place things before I left, now I can't find anything, between all my luggage and souviners strewn on the floor along with books, hand written pages and magazines.  I am very disorganized at this moment.

Not to mention that I had no idea how tired I was.  I just slept for 14 hours.  How did that happen?  So I got up, reread the edits from my editor.  I e-mailed the person that does my formatting and am now blogging.  It is back to reality whether I want to or not.

Vacations are great, but for the past two weeks, I didn't have to do anything.  Now the mail has piled up.  Have to go back to my bill paying job and get back to writing everyday.  So since I have been back this is what I have done with my writing.

1.  reread the changes my editor made

2.  E-mailed my formatter to see when she could do it

3.  blogged

4 been on facebook and twitter.

Today I plan on doing:

1.  Finding where I put my story that I am working on.  What disk did I save it on?

2.  Up my word count

3.  Get Organized

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
