Writing Tip Number One

If you are wanting to self publish your story, it is possible.

Tip Number One is that you do not need a book cover for an E-Book.  Though I would not recommend that it.  You do not need a book cover to publish your book on kindle.  You can always up load a book cover later.

For me budgeting is the number one problem I have, besides finding time to write, promote and edit.  All of this takes time out of our day and if you are working a full time job it is a lot harder to find the time to do everything.

I am self published writer.  I haved learned this process, as I went along.  I am going to share with you what I learned. 

You will not get rich quick, by publishing it yourself, but if you are a writer and want to make a career out of being a writer, I will tell you what I have learned.


I published a short story on Zombie Zoo  www.amazon.com/dp/B006K7CVLS  and all I spent was $10.00. 

I had a co-worker draw the cover.  I scanned the picture into the computer and uploaded it.  I paid someone to format my file and that cost $10.00  My short story was around 5,000 words.

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. WRITER'S UPDATE: PAGE COUNT

 DOG DAYS OF SUMMER ARE HERE LAST NIGHT WHEN I PUT UP THE CHICKENS...IT WAS 89 DEGREES OUT...AT 8PM.... YESTERDAY I WROTE 15 PAGES I GUESS THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET UP AT 5AM SO AS OF JULY 8, 2025...
