New Series Out Today The Beast of Willow Lake

I have a new series out today.  The Beast of Willow Lake.

I will let you know when I get the URL

The creature flung his long tail back and forth.  Maggie was amazed at the color of the creature.  His skin was multi shades of grey, almost black in places.  Water splashed on Maggie.  She watched the creature reach out his hand, that reminded her of an aligator's arm, long claws a few inches long.

Jake touched the creature's arm.  He was then lifted out of the water, and set on dry land.

Jake turned to Maggie.  He held out his hand.  "It's the only way to get the green slime off of you., is to come into the lake with him.  I'll be right here."

Maggie looked at the giant gentle creature.  She had no fear.  She walked over to Jake.  Walking till she was knee deep in water.

She looked at Jake.  "Now what?"

Jake smiled.  He put his arm around her, pulling her close to him.  "We need to go under water, ready?"

Maggie nodded.  She submerged herself into the water.  She didn't close her eyes.  Her eyes were wide open as she followed Jake to the bottom of the lake.  She saw the creature sitting on the bottom of the lake.  She was face to face with the creature, that spared her life last night.  Holding her breath she reached out touching his skin.  It was tough and rough.  She looked into its eyes and saw sadness.

Without any warning, the creature stood up, almost knocking Maggie over.  Jake pulled her back.  Maggie watched the creature turn around and swim away.  He was on his stomach back legs stretched out.  His feet were webbed and he swam as if he was born for the water.

Maggie surfaced, taking a deep breath.  Knowing that her life was forever changed.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Instead, I write.  I might not write 2,000 words everyday.  What I do everyday is, I write.  I write and it might only be 100 words, but I wrote something. I blog and I consider that writing.  I have people come to my blog everyday.  People are reading what I write, like you are reading what I have written, therefore I am a writer.   I know that it is lonely sometimes and you wonder why bother.  I write to live.  I can not write. You can be a self-published writer in less than a mont...
