Writing a Series

I am writing a four book series.  I have Book One rough draft complete.

Yesterday, I plotted out the next two books, in longhand.  I worked on it before I went to work and then while I was on break, and lunch, I plotted some more.

I wanted to plot out the future books because I want to make sure what I put in Book One will line up with the future books.

I will have the same characters in the all the books.

The locations will be the same.

I bought magazines cut out pictures for the characters and hung them on a bullitine board in my office, so I  can see them everyday.

I am going to live with these Characters for the next couple of years, so I want to see them and get to know them.

While I am working on the re-write of Book One.....I will be writing the rough draft for Book Two.

I want to have both books published next year.  I can do this if I focus and don't wander off and start another book with a totally new idea, which I have done in the past.

So what are you working on??  A Series, A stand alone book???

Want to get published in 2019???

I am going to blog about my writing process and how I write.  Leave comments on your daily writing habits and accomplishments and together we will be published in 2019.

This book is how I wrote a short story every month, including my writing and publishing schedule.  You can also write and publish a chapter a month, and start receiving royalty checks now and not a year from now.  This is what I did when I was learning all about self-publishing.  I created the Me VS Zombies series.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Instead, I write.  I might not write 2,000 words everyday.  What I do everyday is, I write.  I write and it might only be 100 words, but I wrote something. I blog and I consider that writing.  I have people come to my blog everyday.  People are reading what I write, like you are reading what I have written, therefore I am a writer.   I know that it is lonely sometimes and you wonder why bother.  I write to live.  I can not write. You can be a self-published writer in less than a mont...
