No Reason Not To Be Self-Published

A few years ago, I wrote, edit and published a short story every month.

Your dream of becoming a published writer in Print & E-Book is within reach.

Write your story.  Only you can write your story.  Can be 5,000 words- 500,000 words.  Don't listen to anyone who tells you, you can not be a published writer.  Hundreds, Thousands of people are publishing everyday on Amazon, throughout the world.  Why Not You?  What are you waiting for?


1.  Write a story story, at least 5,000 words. 

2.  Go to https://kdp.amazon.com

3.  Set up account and follow the steps.  Amazon has made it so easy for E-Books and Print. 

4.  Download Amazon's Template and insert your file.  You can even download an E-Book on how to publish on Amazon. 

5.  Create A Cover.  Use Amazon Cover Converter to create your cover.

6.  You can become published if you are willing to put time and effort into your writing and willing to learn a few new things.  Amazon is always changing and you will have to learn new things as Amazon changes.

7.  Don't tell everyone what you are doing.  Not everyone is going to be on your team and you do not need any negative vibes in your thoughts

8.  Join a Facebook group.  There are so many writers groups out there.

9.  Don't be afraid of publishing a print book.  E-Books are so much easier to publish than Print Books.  But there is nothing like holding your book in your hands,

10.  Have faith in yourself.  God gave you this gift of writing.  Use it.  Tell your stories like only you can tell.

Get Published Today.  You are the only one that is stopping you.  Stop making excuses. 

You are a writer.  Now become a Published Writer.

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

 SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

Don't Be Scammed

This is my number one pet peeve on being self published.  There are people, website, and courses out there, that want your money. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEND! There are websites out there that will charge you for services that you can learn to do yourself.  If you don't want to learn these things that is fine, pay for it.  But if the reason that you are paying for services is because you don't t think you can, you are totally wrong. I have said this before and I am saying it again.  I knew nothing when I started in 2011,  I had a computer.  I had no idea how to send a file via e-mail. I had no idea what to do one I got the file back from the formatter.  How do I get it uploaded on Amazon.  I had no idea that I had more than one drive on the computer.  I downloaded a file and had no idea where it went.
