Writing While Being Quarantine

We are all writers.  We all have a story to tell.  I write everyday.  In longhand or on the computer.  The last 2 days, I had a terrible sinus headache.  My eyes hurt so bad, it hurt to even look through my eyes let alone stare at a computer screen.  I wrote longhand and a longer book I have in my head.  I wrote while I watched TV.

Since this virus thing and people are staying home, as I am on face book and other sites, writers are complaining that they are at home.  They are complaining and wining that they can't write.

I don't get it.  All writers wish for a time when they don't have to work and stay at home to write.
Here is our time.  Stop wining and complaining.

Sure there are times I don't write.  There are times that I write for 5 hours straight.

Get your focus off  of the news.  STOP WATCHING THE NEWS.  The media will suck the life out of you.

They are instilling fear in you.  The media wants to scare you, that is how they get ratings.

Start listening to your characters.  Write down what they are telling you.  Even if you have to write old school and write in longhand.

I look at what is happening in the world as another story to write.  We all could write a book about living through this virus.

You escape life when you read a book.

Escape life as you write your story.

Live through your characters.  Tell their story and stop dwelling on you life and live through your characters as your write.

Write in longhand while you are watching tv with your family.  Jot down notes if something happens and you think that would be great in a book.

We are writers.  Writers Write.

In longhand, on your phone or computer or on a paper towel.

Write.

There is always excuses not to write, before the virus you had excuses not to write.  Now the virus and you are home, you have created new excuses not to write.  There will always be excuses.

So write, and then write some more.

Write a short story, blog,

This is your hour to shine.

If not, when?

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Instead, I write.  I might not write 2,000 words everyday.  What I do everyday is, I write.  I write and it might only be 100 words, but I wrote something. I blog and I consider that writing.  I have people come to my blog everyday.  People are reading what I write, like you are reading what I have written, therefore I am a writer.   I know that it is lonely sometimes and you wonder why bother.  I write to live.  I can not write. You can be a self-published writer in less than a mont...
