Write A Million Words In One Year

My goal for 2021 Is To:

WRITE ONE MILLION WORDS IN 2021

That might sound like a lot, it really isn't if you break it down.

If my math is correct, take 1,000,000 (1 Million) divide it by 365 (Days in one year)=

2,739.  Words Every Day. or round it up to 3,000 words everyday and then it does not seem like so much.

I have a calendar where I am writing my word count down everyday.  It is for me and no one else will see it.

So far:

Friday 1st:  3,000 Words

Saturday 2nd:  4,000 Words

Sunday 3rd:  2,000 Words

Monday 4th:  500 Words

See a pattern here?  I started off strong on the first 2 days and then I started dwindling.  That is okay, because I am not giving up.  I need to catch up a bit.

I will be blogging on my word count and my writing progress.

So write to day, leave me a comment and let me know how you are doing.  This is a personal goal for me.  I want to write 1 million words this year.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
