Why Write A 1,000 Novel?

 Today writing is, well....to many excuses not to write....Back in the Late 1800's and Early 1900's....Writers Write.....They were not on social media complaing and whining about running errands, taking care of their families or coming about writing.... They wrote.....

Mary Shelly.....who wrote Frankenstein..,Wrote with pen and ink..,in a drafty cold castle.....,She had no money...owned nothing and lost a child due to the cold....Her and her husband was broke....yet she. Wrote Frankenstein... Watch the movie.....One of my favorite.....Also her husband took the credit for writing...,so when I think about her.....I think....if she wrote in a drafty cold castle by candle light.....What am I complaing about?

I have 81 Ebooks publishedvon amazon......Some are in Print form.....Most of the books are short books...some are around...200-300Pages....

I want to write an Epic Novel......Jackie Collins wrote Chances....700 page....George R.R. Martin writes 800 page.....I want to write a 1,000 page book...If they can do it....Why can't I???

I have this idea of a book for a few years... the idea and characters will not go away.....

Last year I wrote a 300 page rough draft.....So I started the rewrite......Then I started another novel.....Then I started back on this novel...Back and forth....

Now I am focused on this 1,000page novel.....I have 222 pages written in longhang.....I want to see if i can write a long novel

So follow me on my journey...I only have 778 pages to go

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives.
