WRITING UPDATE: INCREASING YOUR WORD COUNT OR PAGE COUNT

MY GOAL EVERYDAY IS TO WRITE.

THAT IS EASIER SAID THAN DONE.

WHEN I HAD A FULL TIME JOB...I WAS SO MUCH MORE FOCUSED ON MY WRITING.....WRITING ON BREAKS, IN MY CAR, ANY SPARE MINUTE....THEN I QUIT MY JOB TO FOCUS ON MY WRITING....WELL THAT DIDNT GO AS PLANNED.

I WROTE LESS OR NOT AT ALL

NOW MT GOAL IS TO WRITE.

I COUNTMY PAGES....RATHER THAN WORD COUNT!

MY GOAL IS TO WRITE 1 PAGE....I CAN DO THAT.....ONCEI GET THAT 1 PAGE WRITTEN....THE NEXT PAGES SEEM TO WRITE THEMSELVES

IF YOU ARE ON WORD COUNT....WRITE THE 1ST 50 WORDS....EVERYDAY....BEFORE YOU KNOW IT...YOU WILL CONTINUE TO WRITE AND THE WORDS WILL FLOW

WRITE EVERYDAY....EVEN IF IT IS ONE SENTENCE!

YOU ARE A WRITER!

WRITE!

I ALSO KEEP A LOG OF HOW MANY PAGES I WRITE EVERDAY

APRIL 1ST....6

2ND...6

3RD..2

4TH...10

5TH..4

6TH..6....

TOTALFOR MONTH SO FAR....34 PAGES

IF I CAN DO IT.....SO CAN YOU!

ONE WORD AT A TIME!

ONE PAGE AT A TIME

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

 SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

Don't Be Scammed

This is my number one pet peeve on being self published.  There are people, website, and courses out there, that want your money. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEND! There are websites out there that will charge you for services that you can learn to do yourself.  If you don't want to learn these things that is fine, pay for it.  But if the reason that you are paying for services is because you don't t think you can, you are totally wrong. I have said this before and I am saying it again.  I knew nothing when I started in 2011,  I had a computer.  I had no idea how to send a file via e-mail. I had no idea what to do one I got the file back from the formatter.  How do I get it uploaded on Amazon.  I had no idea that I had more than one drive on the computer.  I downloaded a file and had no idea where it went.
