WRITER'S UPDATE: MINOR CHAREACTER HIGH JACKS THE STORY

I WAS WORKING ON MY ZOMBIE NOVEL.....I NEEDED A MINOR CHARACTERTO WALK INTO THE SCENE.....THE CHARACTER WALKED IN....AND SHE WAS NOT LEAVING....SHE STARTED TALKING....SHE ADDED DEPTH TO THE PLOT AND MORE CONFLICT....SHE WANTED TO BE ONE OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS.....THIS WOULD CHANGE THE ENTIRE STORY LINE....THAT IS WHY THEY CALL IT A ROUGH DRAFT.....SO NOW.....I AM WORKING ON HER BACK STORY...AND SHE EXPLAINS TO ME WHY SHE SHOULD BE THE MAIN CHARACTER......I HAVE TO AGREE..........I AM 100 PAGES INTO THIS STORY...SORT OF PLOTTED OUT...NOW WHAT????....IT IS A ROUGH DRAFT...SO I WILL CONTINUE TO WRITE THE ROUGH DRAFT AND SEE WHERE IT GOES.....I AM NOW ON PAGE 115.....NOT SURE WHAT WILL HAPPEN.....BUT IT SURE IS FUN....

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days. I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing. I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write. Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer. I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. So that I it. I am going to start writing and get this done. What are you working on??? WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

WRITER'S UPDATE: PAGE COUNT

DOG DAYS OF SUMMER ARE HERE LAST NIGHT WHEN I PUT UP THE CHICKENS...IT WAS 89 DEGREES OUT...AT 8PM.... YESTERDAY I WROTE 15 PAGES I GUESS THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET UP AT 5AM SO AS OF JULY 8, 2025... I HAVE WRITTEN 52 PAGES THIS MONTH I HAVE A MAMA HEN LAYING ON EGGS....MIGHT HAVE SOME CHICKS IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS KEEP WRITING...ONE WORD AT A TIME...
