  Published!!!!! I started writing this August 30th 2020 and I Published it September 6, 2020 It is a 10,000 word short story about living in the Last Days. So far this year I have written and published 5 Books Jesus Says The Cross Read The Bible Write Your Testimony I have written, edited and published these books on Amazon and I did this without going into debt. If you want to be a writer, if you have a story to tell, the only thing that is stopping you, is you.  Amazon has made it easy to publish your book and you do not have to spend a penny on publishing if you are willing to learn a few things.  If I can I write-edit-publish so can you.  I wrote a 10,000 word Short Story.  One would think that editing would not be so bad, it is just about 25 pages single spaced.  I worked on it all day yesterday.  Today I have to write a bit more to expand a couple of scenes. I have already done my book cover using the Kindle Book Maker.  I have done everything on  KDP   so I am ready to publish.  I just have to finish editing the book and to write a bit more.  I even have the back matter of the book finished.   I wish I could just write the book and publish the rough draft and move onto the next book. I know, it doesn't work like that. I have to go check on my chickens and then I will come back and work on the short story.  I would like to publish it this weekend.

Publish A Short Story Within A Month A few years ago when I wrote the Zombie Series  Me VS Zombies I wrote a short story every month and published a short story every month. I am working on a new series, and I wanted to write and publish a short story, to get my series going. Yesterday I wrote 6,000 words, It is a rough draft, but I kept writing until I got the jest of the story.  The short story will be around 10,000 words when all is said and done.  This book is going to be a book I will put on Amazon for FREE when the other books are published. The back matter of the book with have my Bio.  I am going to write a Bio which will be the same for all the future books.  Where to Find Me Page Where to Find All My Books I am thinking of this book as an Introduction To The Series.  My goal is have it published in September.  I am thinking of publishing other short stories between the longer books, so the readers will stay interest...

I am old school.  I am not high tech.  I use a flash drive to back up my writing. Yesterday I was writing.  I had to get up and do something.  I pulled down the screen and went and did what I had to do.  I came back and microsoft word was acting funny and closed the program.  I didn't back up what I had just written before I closed my laptop, which I have done many times. So I lost what I have written yesterday. I don't think the writing was brilliant, but the point being, back up your work, because sometimes the computer has a mind of it's own.  Now I have to start writing and will back up my writing before I close the laptop

This may be harsh to hear, but the truth is: No One Cares If You Write If don't write, it will not effect people around you.  Their lives will go on.  Of course if you start making money, everyone will care.  But when you are up early or staying up late, staring at a computer screen, no one cares. I got no support from my family.  Zip, None.  My parents showed no interest in my writing and to this day has never read anything  I wrote.  My mother said  "Why would anyone want to sit in a room and listen to someone talk about writing?  That would be so boring?" My Answer was.  "Why would a much of women want to sit around and quilt in a room for hours with their sewing machines.  That sounds boring." So you have to develop thick skin if you want to be a writer.  Everyone is a critic.  They will tell you what is wrong with the book, before they will tell you what they like about the book.  Wives, husbands...
