Summer Is Here

It is hot and humid out.  It is now July and a long weekend.  That is no excuse not to write.  I know that you have cookouts to go to.  Hang out at the lake, but don't forget to get your word count in. Get up early before you get sunburned or drink to much.

I have to work this weekend but I am going to a cookout and try to be social something that is not easy for me.  I would rather stay home and write.

I am glad that I decided to self publish and be called an indie writer.

How ever you decide to publish you need to finish the book.  So as you enjoy the summer and the long weekend, write before fun

I do love the hot weather though the humidity I could live without.

The week is almost finished and I have completed chapter five so I have completed my goal for the week.

Enjoy the weekend and let me know how your weekend went.

Check out my book.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
