Four Hours In Front Of The Computer

I got up way to early on my day off.  I could not sleep.  I prayed before I got out of bed and decided to work on my book.  I typed in 20 pages and didn't leave the computer for 4 hours.

That may not be a long time to some, but for me, that is pretty good.   I am excited about this book and January is my deadline.  I found a bookstore to carry my books and this is my time and I need to finish this book and work on the next.

Sometimes I wonder if it is worth the effort.  I don't have the answer to that, except that I live to write.  It keeps me sane and I like to write.  So I write.  I am excited.

I need to make some notes and re read what I have typed so the work is not done yet for the day.

How long have you sat in front of the computer at a time?????

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
