New Attitude

I have to switch my way of thinking.  I never thought of myself as a professional.  I like jeans and tee shirts.  I like my flip flops.  Now I am changing my way of thinking.

I am a professional writer.  I went and had a website done, by professionals  http://sharonleejohnson.com/

I went and had my picute taken by professionals.  I suggest everyone do that.  I dreaded it, but it was a very positive experience.  Took only about 15 minutes. 

So I started thinking, maybe I should consider myself a professional.  I am a serious writer.  I have 6 books on amazon for sale.  I need to take myself serious.  If I don't who will.

So from this moment on I am a professional writer and I am making a living as a writer.  I do recieve monthly royality checks from the sale of my books.  I have people buying my books.

I am a writer and I am going to start acting like one.  I will have to pay taxes on my writing.  That makes me self employed.  I am a business owner. 

I am only going to think positive thoughts.

This is my new attitude.  What is yours?

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

 SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

WRITER'S UPDATE: PAGE COUNT

 DOG DAYS OF SUMMER ARE HERE LAST NIGHT WHEN I PUT UP THE CHICKENS...IT WAS 89 DEGREES OUT...AT 8PM.... YESTERDAY I WROTE 15 PAGES I GUESS THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET UP AT 5AM SO AS OF JULY 8, 2025... I HAVE WRITTEN 52 PAGES THIS MONTH I HAVE A MAMA HEN LAYING ON EGGS....MIGHT HAVE SOME CHICKS IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS KEEP WRITING...ONE WORD AT A TIME...
