Writing Is A business

If you do not think of yourself as a business person, you will never make it as a writer.

WRITING IS A BUSINESS

1.  Save all your reciepts that is spent on writing for taxes, you can deduct you expenses
2.  Have a full time job??  Writing is now your part time job.  Show up and work.
3.  Commit to your writing as you would any other job.
4.  If you do not show up to write, your story will not get written, then it will not be published
5.  Get business cards, hand them out, and tell people you are a writer and be poud of it.

I wrote and published Welcome to Zombie Zoo.  If I didn't show up to the computer to write, edit, publish and promote.  It would never of been published. 

I am a Writer.  I still have a full time job.  Writing is my part time job, but not for long.  I will be self employed as a writer.  That is my goal.  It will never happen if I don't show up to work.

I am a writer.  Start acting like a writer.  You are a business person and as a business person, you need to show up and write

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives.
