Write Every Day

Write Everyday.  Even if it is one sentence.  One Word.   Write everyday.  I have a calendar where I mark my word count.  Might be 2 words one day, might be 5,000 words.  I am writing everyday.  Yes you can count your todoy list as writing.

Finding time to write:

1.Get up Early
2.Write on lunches and breaks.
3.  Write while waiting in doctor's office or denist office.
4.  Stay up later to write
5.  Get to work early and write in your car.

You can write 20-50 words at a time throughout the day.  It all adds up at the end of the day.  Don't beat yourself up, if you don't write one day.  The next day, try to write a few more words.  It all adds up.

I write more on my 2 days off than I do on the days I work.  I think it even outs.

I think of my writing as a business.  I must show up for work or I won't get paid.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
