Save The Cat

I realize that I have not been blogging for over a year.  That does not mean that I have not been writing.  I have this great idea for a book, guess what?  I have been working on this book for the past two years I have written and rewritten the first fifty pages over and over again, and it was making me crazy.

I know that I have a good idea, but it was just boring, dull and who on earth would want to read this.  I didn't quit.  I wrote on the computer in long hand but I was not getting nowhere.  It was as if I was on a treadmill writing and going nowhere.

Then I discovered the book Save the Cat by Blake Synder can be found on Amazon He has 3 books on screenwriting.  He tells you were to put certain scenes in your screenplay and what page it should be on.  I read all three books.  They will work with writing a novel.  Then I found Jessica Brody
and she wrote Save The Cat Writes A Novel

I was not sure I should buy this book, I have the other books.  I bought Save The Cat Writes A Novel and it changed my total way of thinking.  I was doing everything wrong.  I read the entire book twice.  I had a week of vacation.  I wrote 50 pages 10,000 words and got past the first three chapters.  I now know what I was doing wrong and what direction to go.

I recomend this book.  I am using this book to write the first book The Cross in the book series The Way.

So follow me as I write this book,  I am going to talk about the highs and lows and what I am doing.  If you are having problems finishing your book, get these books and walk with me and lets get published.

Self-publishing is the easy part.  I have over 50 E-Books On Amazon

Writing is the hard part.  So the year will end soon.  2019 will be here soon and I am excited.  I will be publishing the first book next year.

Will you be publishing your book next year?

What are you waiting for.

I am getting nothing for promoting Save The Cat Books.  I am just letting you know what I found and is totally different than any other writing book you have read.  I am just paying it forward.f

Let's get writing.

What is your book about and when do you want to have it published???

Let me know.

Writing Onward.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Instead, I write.  I might not write 2,000 words everyday.  What I do everyday is, I write.  I write and it might only be 100 words, but I wrote something. I blog and I consider that writing.  I have people come to my blog everyday.  People are reading what I write, like you are reading what I have written, therefore I am a writer.   I know that it is lonely sometimes and you wonder why bother.  I write to live.  I can not write. You can be a self-published writer in less than a mont...
