Hard Cover Books Coming To Self-Publishing On KDP

I was just on KDP And they are working on Hard Cover Books you can select when you are Self- Publishing. I think that is great news.

I never really cared about whether it was Paperback or Hard Cover, but now the book that I am working on is a longer book. Goal is around 500 pages. That would be so cool to have that book in Hard back. I realize that it might be more expensive, but this will be the longest book I have ever written, and I would like that to be in Hard Cover, just to hold if nothing else. So I am excited about that.

They are still working on it. But that would be cool. Something to strive for, something to look forward to.

So I know that I have not posted for awhile. I have been in thinking, plotting and organizing mode.

I have an idea of a Fantasy Novel, though I don't know if that is what others would call it, because it is connected to the Bible, anyway. I organized my room, gathered my writing supplies, because I love pen and paper and started to write in longhand.

I am writing in longhand to get my thoughts on paper first. so I am back in the writing mode.

So think about how you want to see your book published. E-Book, Print or Hard Cover or all 3

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days. I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing. I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write. Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer. I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. So that I it. I am going to start writing and get this done. What are you working on??? WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

Don't Be Scammed

This is my number one pet peeve on being self published. There are people, website, and courses out there, that want your money. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEND! There are websites out there that will charge you for services that you can learn to do yourself. If you don't want to learn these things that is fine, pay for it. But if the reason that you are paying for services is because you don't t think you can, you are totally wrong. I have said this before and I am saying it again. I knew nothing when I started in 2011, I had a computer. I had no idea how to send a file via e-mail. I had no idea what to do one I got the file back from the formatter. How do I get it uploaded on Amazon. I had no idea that I had more than one drive on the computer. I downloaded a file and had no idea where it went. If you are thinking that you can not learn this.
