Writing In Long Hand

I know that I haven't blogged for awhile. I think I was in a transition mode. I cleaned my room, organized my writing supplies and started to write my newest novel in longhand. I know that computers are easier and that is the future.

My printer stopped printing. I don't want to buy a new printer at this time. I don't want to type the book into the computer, and not be able to print it out.

I like to read a hard copy. I forget what happened in Chapter 3 when I am writing Chapter 15 and then I have to scroll up and find out what I had written. I always print out what I type into the computer.

So I decided to do it in longhand first to get my ideas on paper.

This is going to be a 500 page book. I am shooting for a longer book, there is alot of stuff I want to put into it.

It is a quest book. The characters are on a quest and will meet alot of different people and places.

So I am going to write the book in longhand, because I know that I am going to have to rewrite the entire book. So I will write it in longhand and then as I rewrite it and edit it I will type it into the computer.

When I write Long Hand, I am more creative and write whatever comes into my head and some of the ideas are good. So that is what I am doing.

So I am continue to write. I can write anywhere. I just carry my folder or note book and write while I watch tv, sitting on the deck, or while I am in the waiting room of the doctor's office or in the car, while I am waiting.

So however you write is fine. Don't listen to others.

Write the way, where and how you feel best.

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days. I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing. I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write. Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer. I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. So that I it. I am going to start writing and get this done. What are you working on??? WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

Don't Be Scammed

This is my number one pet peeve on being self published. There are people, website, and courses out there, that want your money. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEND! There are websites out there that will charge you for services that you can learn to do yourself. If you don't want to learn these things that is fine, pay for it. But if the reason that you are paying for services is because you don't t think you can, you are totally wrong. I have said this before and I am saying it again. I knew nothing when I started in 2011, I had a computer. I had no idea how to send a file via e-mail. I had no idea what to do one I got the file back from the formatter. How do I get it uploaded on Amazon. I had no idea that I had more than one drive on the computer. I downloaded a file and had no idea where it went. If you are thinking that you can not learn this.
