Still Writing Ten Hours Later

I wrote 27 pages today.  I took a few breaks, drank to much pepsi, but I wrote more than one chapter today.  I took a break and started to watch a movie, but the computer was staring at me.  I took another pepsi out of the frig and started writing again.

I have 227 pages written and 57,000 Words written.  I have never gotten this far, least not having it in the computer.

I am telling you, if I can do this, so can you.  It does take a commitment and a bit determation.  I have that and I am surprised how the new ideas are coming to me and can not wait till the end.

We can do this together.  Decide that you will right everyday, no matter what, even if it is only one word and then you will want to write more each day.

Take  the first step and lets finish the book together.

After the rough draft is written, there is a lot more work to do.  Revision, query letter, synopsis..so don't leave me now, cause I have a lot more to say.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
