Creating Your Own Deadline

Think of writing as a business.  It is a business.  If you make money you will have to pay taxes as it will be considered income.  So think like a business person. Don't write when you feel like it.  Do you only go to work when you feel like it?  I would never make it to work if I only went when I feel like it.  I never want to go to work I go cause I want to get paid.

So if I don't write, I won't get published.  My goal is to get published.  So I make deadlines myself so I will finish the story.  I will get it on line and I will make sales.  If I do not write, I will not make my deadline and I will never get publish.  So I always make deadlines.  To see my writing through.

Writing is a business.  You need to show up as if it is your job and get that story written.

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

 SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

WRITER'S UPDATE: PAGE COUNT

 DOG DAYS OF SUMMER ARE HERE LAST NIGHT WHEN I PUT UP THE CHICKENS...IT WAS 89 DEGREES OUT...AT 8PM.... YESTERDAY I WROTE 15 PAGES I GUESS THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET UP AT 5AM SO AS OF JULY 8, 2025... I HAVE WRITTEN 52 PAGES THIS MONTH I HAVE A MAMA HEN LAYING ON EGGS....MIGHT HAVE SOME CHICKS IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS KEEP WRITING...ONE WORD AT A TIME...
