Writing is just like walking. One step at a time. You will get to your destination. One word at a time, you willl get to the end of the story and that is all that matters. Doesn't matter how long it takes.
I know that some writers write 10,000 words a day and others write less some write more. The important thing to do is to write no matter what.
I write ever day. I might write 50 words or I might write 3,000 words, but the important thing is that I am writing and that is fine with me.
Some days the words flow and others they don't . Not sure why, but that is life. So I continue to write till the story is finished.
I have 5 short stories up and 3 books within two years. I think that is good. http://sharonleejohnson.com I don't compare myself to others or their progress. I go at the pace that works for me. I am working on two different stories and will have them up next year.
So one word at a time, is the only way to write
