Notebook In Hand

After I finished writing the other day. I was not sure what was going to happen next.  I took a notebook and curled up in a chair, in slilence.  No tv, no radio.  The computer was off.  I just sat there with pen in hand and a notebook on my lap. 

I started to write and the words flow and then I knew what direction to take next.

I am usually a plotter but this time for some reason, I am just letting the story take me.  Sometimes I have to sit in silence and listen to my characters.  They know what they want to do and where they want to go.

I am going to have to do this more oftern.  Right now I am sitting in siloence.  all I can hear is the furnace running, to keep me warm.  I am a lone with my thoughts and characters.  Sometimes that is all I need to get the story finished.

I am writing my second episode of Me VS Zombies

First episode is with the Editor.

I had 7,000 words on the second episode, but I deleted 2,000 words so my word count is 5,000 words so far.....

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

 SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

Don't Be Scammed

This is my number one pet peeve on being self published.  There are people, website, and courses out there, that want your money. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEND! There are websites out there that will charge you for services that you can learn to do yourself.  If you don't want to learn these things that is fine, pay for it.  But if the reason that you are paying for services is because you don't t think you can, you are totally wrong. I have said this before and I am saying it again.  I knew nothing when I started in 2011,  I had a computer.  I had no idea how to send a file via e-mail. I had no idea what to do one I got the file back from the formatter.  How do I get it uploaded on Amazon.  I had no idea that I had more than one drive on the computer.  I downloaded a file and had no idea where it went. If you are thinking that you can not learn this.  I am proof you can learn if you set your mind to it and are willing to learn. Don't...
