Staying on Deadline

I finished the rough draft of the 2nd Episode of Me VS Zombies  I am ahead on my schedule for writing in 2013. 

I started a early, but I need to keep up the writing pace in order to reach my goals at the end of the year of 2013.

I may not publish all the episodes in 2013, but they will be finished.  Working with an Editor is going to slow down the publishing process, but it is worth it.  That doesn't mean that I am not writing.  One manuscript at the Editor, I am then working on the next Episode.  Plotting the next Episode.  I am totally focused on this series and am thinking about it all the time, even when I am not writing.

Holidays are here.  I am trying to get ahead of my writing, since I know that I will not be on the computer for a few days.  I have my notebook and will be writing long hand.

Don't make excuses.  Write everyday, even if  it is one word or 5,000 words.

If you are not thinking big, then you are not thinking at all

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

 SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

Don't Be Scammed

This is my number one pet peeve on being self published.  There are people, website, and courses out there, that want your money. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEND! There are websites out there that will charge you for services that you can learn to do yourself.  If you don't want to learn these things that is fine, pay for it.  But if the reason that you are paying for services is because you don't t think you can, you are totally wrong. I have said this before and I am saying it again.  I knew nothing when I started in 2011,  I had a computer.  I had no idea how to send a file via e-mail. I had no idea what to do one I got the file back from the formatter.  How do I get it uploaded on Amazon.  I had no idea that I had more than one drive on the computer.  I downloaded a file and had no idea where it went. If you are thinking that you can not learn this.  I am proof you can learn if you set your mind to it and are willing to learn. Don't...
