Binge Watching & Writing

I have been snowed in the last three days.  I have been binge watching GRIMM.  I have seen the entire series at least 4 times.  Re-watch it every winter.

While I am watching GRIMM I had thoughts in my head.  I knew I should be writing, but it is snowy and cold outside.  I grabbed a yellow legal pad and started writing.

I made 4 columns and put each character on top of each character....Then.....I jotted down, how each character was connected and how each other did each other wrong.  CONFLICT

I was just jotting down what I was thinking.  I know that I need more conflict.  I think I have it now.

I then went back to the book Save The Cat and started plotting with the 15 plot points.

I did this as I watched GRIMM.

I realize that you all might not be able to watch tv and write, but I can.

Now I have to go back to work.....I now have more conflict and will be able to finish my 15 plot points.

binge watch and writing....Does it get any better than that.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
