I Hate Social Media

I hate Social Media.  There I said it.

I have been on Twitter.  I have been on Facebook.  I have 2 blogs.

It is exhausting.

I have been on Facebook.  I have joined Facebook Writing Groups.  I have posted my books on Facebook, along with all the authors who have done the same.

If I am on Social Media?  When am I going to write?

I have been Self-Publishing since 2011   My Books

I would be on Facebook posting my books on different Facebook Groups, and then I wouldn't have time to write.

I tried twitter, but keeping up with the hashtags, and replying to everyone that comments on your tweet.  If I follow a writer, that writer would follow me.  That is great.  The fact is that is does me no good to have a hundred writer's following me, if no readers are reading my tweets

It doesn't matter if I have a thousand likes if no one is buying my book.

I could be doing something wrong, but when I am in the zone to write, I want to write.  I want to spend that time to write and not go and do social media.

So I don't do social media.  That is what I decided for the year 2019.

I decided to concentrate on blogging.

I have been blogging for years, but did not do it regularly.  This year I am blogging every week, twice a week or when I have something to say.

Why Blogging?

I am reaching more people, who are looking for someone who is writing.  So this blog is about me writing and self-publishing.

I will promote my books here and other writer's books.

I am a writer and I am going to write.

My other Blog is my walk with GOD.  I believe that we are living in the last days and that is what The Series The Way is about.  So I think both blogs are linked together.

You can have more than one blog.  I am sure you have more than one interest.

Let me know if you are blogger.  Leave your Blog address in the comment section.  It will be interesting to see what you all are blogging about.

Do you agree or disagree on Social Media?  Leave a comment.

Keep On Writing

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Instead, I write.  I might not write 2,000 words everyday.  What I do everyday is, I write.  I write and it might only be 100 words, but I wrote something. I blog and I consider that writing.  I have people come to my blog everyday.  People are reading what I write, like you are reading what I have written, therefore I am a writer.   I know that it is lonely sometimes and you wonder why bother.  I write to live.  I can not write. You can be a self-published writer in less than a mont...
