I am sure you all are on some sort of Lock Down due to this new Virus.  I have been on Facebook and have learned that a lot of Self-Published Writers sales are down, big time.  They are not making money like they have in the past months and they are beginning to panic.  They are now short on money to pay for Editors and Book Covers and Formatting. You have to treat your writing as a Business.  The Book is your Product.  Your books are what you are selling. I have always said, do not go into debt to be published.  Amazon has made it so simple and easy to publish.  I published Write Your Testimony and it cost me nothing.  I formatted the file myself, I created the Cover at  Kindle Direct Publishing  It cost me nothing.  I have a relative to edit my writing.  ...

I did this yesterday and it took me 5 hours to figure it out.  I would upload the file and it would take it, but my margins were way off. I strongly urge you to join the Facebook Group, Publishing Made Simple I uploaded the file.  waited 5 minutes or so and then launched the preview button, to see what was wrong, then I went back to my file, changed my file and then uploaded it. I did this over and over again.  I think I have my margins right.  I am going to send for a proof copy to see what it looks like in print.  I know it is not perfect, but I need to see the book in print so I will know what I need to fix. I just hit the Publish button on  Amazon  moments ago.  I don't have the website yet, should have that in an hour or so. I also hit the publish button on another book   How To Write Your Testimony   Only 99 Cents I priced this book low, because I want everyone who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior to learn how to write their testimony and go ye into the world to preach the gospel.  I published both of these books and it did not cost me anything.  I did pay for the cover of The Cross.  It was a Pre-Made Cover and was on sale.  The sad thing is that the woman who did the cover is now to sick to work.  So I can't give you her website.  But there are websites with pre-made covers with reasonable prices.  I learned how to format the files. Everyone wants to write a Novel.  Even people who will never write one, will tell you they could if they had more time. Writing is not as easy as people think.  I have been writing and publishing for years.  When I quit my full time job, everyone else asked if I got a new job.  I told them I was quitting my job to write full time.  They looked at me as if I was crazy.  Why?  Because no one thinks it is possible to be a writer.  They think it is a phase or hobby. Nevertheless, I quit my job to write and that is what I am doing.  I don't care what society says about that.  In the Bible, it does not say, work at a job that is sucking the life out of you.
