Writing & Publishing Non-Fiction E-Books & Print Books

Everyone wants to write a Novel.  Even people who will never write one, will tell you they could if they had more time.

Writing is not as easy as people think.  I have been writing and publishing for years.  When I quit my full time job, everyone else asked if I got a new job.  I told them I was quitting my job to write full time.  They looked at me as if I was crazy.  Why?  Because no one thinks it is possible to be a writer.  They think it is a phase or hobby.

Nevertheless, I quit my job to write and that is what I am doing.  I don't care what society says about that.  In the Bible, it does not say, work at a job that is sucking the life out of you.

I am working on a novel, but I also want to write and publish non-fiction.  Short Non-Fiction Books.  You can write a Non-Fiction Book around 5,000 words, add some back matter, like resources, links to your other books, etc.

It is a good way to stay published more often while you are getting that book done.

So I wrote the book Prepare Yourself For The Rapture as an E-Book & Print Book

Within a week I will be publishing another short non-fiction book, under 10,000 words.  It will cost me nothing, because I am publishing on Kindle Direct Publishing  I used the Kindle Cover Converter to create the book cover and formatted the book myself.

So if you have a hobby, a personal story or a short story.  Publish your short books while you are writing your longer book.

Then you will not get writer's block, because you can jump from one book to the other.

There is no reason not to be a published writer.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Work Ethic

What is your work ethic????  It might get that book written sooner. I admit that televison is my distraction from writing.  I can not write in the living room, where the telvision is staring at me.  I know it talks to me.  Maybe your distraction is something dirrerent.  The dishes calling you to wash them or those dust bunnies talkling to you.  Whatever it is we need to stop listening to them. I always plan on writing more than I do.  I came home from work yesterday, and had plans to write, then I ate and started flipping channels and then the time slipped by and I didn't write anything.  I think it all come down to one's work ethic.  Some have one and some don't. I think I am one of them that does not have a strong work ethic.  The fact that I want my book finished, is what motivates me.  I want to be a writer, so I write. http://iamwalkingwithgod.blogspot.com/

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. So that I it.  I am going to start writing and get this done. What are you working on??? This is a new year.....New Beginning.
