That is 3 books this month. I get sidetrack and some days I don't write and just do nothing.  Others I am all in on writing.  So don't beat yourself up if you don't write every day. I have 70 E-Books on Amazon.  Some are short E-Books and some are longer E-Books.  I also am learning how to make them into Print Books.  This is all a learning curve.  Once you figure out something, things change and I have to learn all over again. I had Createspace.com all figured out.  Print books were no problem, but when Amazon merged Createspace to KDP then I had to relearn how to make Print Books.  It is not hard, but a learning cur...

Kindle May Sensor Your Books

I was just on Facebook and a writer posted that Amazon refused to publish their book, because of the Corona Virus.  Amazon said that they will not publish anything that refers to the Corona Virus. The writer said it is fiction and has nothing to do with health advice. So Amazon might be on their way to sensor all material of every book. Just thought I would pass this along to you. I don't have all the details, but if they start sensor our writing, there goes our freedom of speech. Something to think about. Leave a post if you know more about this Senor Subject

Writing While Being Quarantine

Buy Now We are all writers.  We all have a story to tell.  I write everyday.  In longhand or on the computer.  The last 2 days, I had a terrible sinus headache.  My eyes hurt so bad, it hurt to even look through my eyes let alone stare at a computer screen.  I wrote longhand and a longer book I have in my head.  I wrote while I watched TV.   Since this virus thing and people are staying home, as I am on face book and other sites, writers are complaining that they are at home.  They are complaining and wining that they can't write.   I don't get it.  All writers wish for a time when they don't have to work and stay at home to write. Here is our time.  Stop wining and complaining. Sure there are times I don't write.  There are times that I write for 5 hours straight.   Get your focus off  of the news.  STOP WATCHING THE NEWS.  The media will suck the life out ...

Writing In Longhand

I don't know about you, but I like writing in longhand.  I could write in longhand all day, not that anyone can read my handwriting.  I feel that when I am writing in longhand, I have freedom and can write whatever I want.  I have my characters do and say the craziest things and I can give the characters freedom to do whatever they want. When I write on the computer, I feel like I have to produce, word count or something brilliant.  I am working on a Christian Romance for the next book. I also have all these ideas about The End of Times, with this Corona Virus on the news 24/7.  So these ideas are in my head and are screaming to be written.  I need to write the Christian Romance.  I want to get these ideas about the Virus on paper. So I got another notebook and started writing in longhand.  I am jotting down notes on what is going on in the news now.  I then started writing in first person about someone living through this virus....

If You Self-Publish--You Are A Business Owner

Buy Now This in my new fiction book The Cross. Buy Now I haven't published a book since last year and it is a good feeling to have 2 new books published. I am sure you all are on some sort of Lock Down due to this new Virus.  I have been on Facebook and have learned that a lot of Self-Published Writers sales are down, big time.  They are not making money like they have in the past months and they are beginning to panic.  They are now short on money to pay for Editors and Book Covers and Formatting. You have to treat your writing as a Business.  The Book is your Product.  Your books are what you are selling. I have always said, do not go into debt to be published.  Amazon has made it so simple and easy to publish.  I published Write Your Testimony and it cost me nothing.  I formatted the file myself, I created the Cover at  Kindle Direct Publishing  It cost me nothing.  I have a relative to edit my writing.  ...

Publishing Print Book On Amazon

Publishing Print Book On Amazon Go to  Kindle Direct Publishing   Download the short Printable Version of how to format your file. I did this yesterday and it took me 5 hours to figure it out.  I would upload the file and it would take it, but my margins were way off. I strongly urge you to join the Facebook Group, Publishing Made Simple I uploaded the file.  waited 5 minutes or so and then launched the preview button, to see what was wrong, then I went back to my file, changed my file and then uploaded it. I did this over and over again.  I think I have my margins right.  I am going to send for a proof copy to see what it looks like in print.  I know it is not perfect, but I need to see the book in print so I will know what I need to fix. Publishing as E-Book is so simple, because there are no margins, trim size of page count.  So publishing an E-book, once you learn it, it is so easy to publish. Print Books, not so much. I don'...
