NanNo Month of November

I might have that name wrong.  It is where one tries to write as mamy words in the month of November.  There are groups around who post their word account.

I may offend people but why this month??/  If you can write the month of November why not the rest of the year???

I think that people make excuses not to write.  I know that I do.  I admit that I make excuses.  So why do writers need one month to write and then make excuses the rest of the year.

I know that they have their reasons and more power to them.  Write, that is what writers do.

I myself am going to write everyday.  I don't need a month to drain myself and then after the month of Novemver I wouldn't want to write.
