Promo Material

I have already started handing out business cards, even before my book is on line.  I am so excited, I cannot wait to tell everyone.

I ordered my business cards a few weeks ago, from http://www.vistaprint.com/.  They were free and all I had to do was pay for shipping.  They do that ever once in awhile, so you need to keep checking on their website.

I have also made up flyers with my book cover and a brief summary of the book, with the website on where to order.

I didn't wait till the file was uploaded, I did this a couple of months ago.  I believe that you have to have faith and see things that are not here yet.  So I created my book cover, before the book was finished.

I made flyers before the book was finished and I ordered my business cards before the file was uploaded.  Now I have everything in place.

I am waiting for my proof copy and I have already sold 3 copies of my book.  It can only get better I am so excited.

If I can write a book and get it on line for others to buy, you can do.

Dream it.  Write it...Sell it.

It is possible.

WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

 SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

Don't Be Scammed

This is my number one pet peeve on being self published.  There are people, website, and courses out there, that want your money. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEND! There are websites out there that will charge you for services that you can learn to do yourself.  If you don't want to learn these things that is fine, pay for it.  But if the reason that you are paying for services is because you don't t think you can, you are totally wrong. I have said this before and I am saying it again.  I knew nothing when I started in 2011,  I had a computer.  I had no idea how to send a file via e-mail. I had no idea what to do one I got the file back from the formatter.  How do I get it uploaded on Amazon.  I had no idea that I had more than one drive on the computer.  I downloaded a file and had no idea where it went.
