I need to get out of my bubble and let the world know that I am a writer. I was at work, and writing in my notebook. a co-worker came in the breakroom and asked in I was writing a book. I know that he was being funny, but I said, yes I am and that shut him up. Then he started asking me questions about my writing and I told him. He was surprised that I was a writer, but he was also impressed.
So don't be afraid to admit that you are a writer or be afraid to tell people that you are a writer. You never know where it will lead.
I told a customer that I was a writer and gave her a business card and she bought 20 books from me, as Christmas gifts. If I didn't admit that I was a writer, I would not of sold 20 books.
I went to amazon.com and all three of my books are there when you put my name in. 3 books in one year how cool is that?
