Selling Books

I have been selling books this weekend.  I have been handing out business cards to whoever I meet.  I am not an outgoing person.  I don't like to be noticed or talk to people.  If I am going to be an indie writer I need to promote myself.  So I have my business cards and hand them out.  I work in a bakery and I talk to my customers that I see everyday and give them my business cards.  A lot of people are impressed that I wrote a book.  No one has said anything bad or acted like I was stupid.

One of my customers ordered 14 books on line and then she bought 5 books from me and had me autograph them for me.  I put in the postcards I had ordered and business cards in the book.  She is giving them as Christmas presents and was thrilled to know a writer. 

My dream has come true.  I am a writer.  I am selling books.  I am autographing books and I am not stopping.  2012 is going to be my year and I will write another book and get it on line.

I have sold over 30 books so far.  I have 3 books on line and did all of this in the year 2011.  6 months ago I didn't know how to down load a file or even upload a file.  Now I am a published writer.

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

 SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

WRITER'S UPDATE: PAGE COUNT

 DOG DAYS OF SUMMER ARE HERE LAST NIGHT WHEN I PUT UP THE CHICKENS...IT WAS 89 DEGREES OUT...AT 8PM.... YESTERDAY I WROTE 15 PAGES I GUESS THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET UP AT 5AM SO AS OF JULY 8, 2025... I HAVE WRITTEN 52 PAGES THIS MONTH I HAVE A MAMA HEN LAYING ON EGGS....MIGHT HAVE SOME CHICKS IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS KEEP WRITING...ONE WORD AT A TIME...
